oddly the letter to me seems very old testament-ish. we, we ,we ,we. if i remember right, God eventually let them do it on their own occasionally to remind them how weak they were without Him. Israel gets wasted and disappears into something else for a time, before God re-establishes them.

sorry it wasnt as fast as i hoped. got sins installed this morning on the netbook. i wsa able to see the buttons needed on the main menu screens and in once the game started. great work! i have an acer aspire one. its one of the older models with the 120 GB drive. 1gb ram. i knocked the effets settings down to almost nothing at initial performace on a small map was smooth. i can only image newer and faster netbooks will perform even better.</p

the only solution would be for someone to mod the game files and make hte buttons bigger. someone posted a model this week than adjusted things to work on a netbook so im guessing that its possible to go the other way too.

I have used Impulse a LOT longer than Fences. It is not the issue. I am sure Impulse will handle the licesing and update of the final product. I have no problem with that what so ever. Impulse does not soak system resources except for a tiny bit of HD space. Plus it offers easy management of the Stardock apps. So +2 to SD for Impulse. Least we are even now.

also note that the sins does not require impulse to run, unlike steam which requires its client to be in the backgroup to play any of its games. the sins program files are located here... C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire you can also use the archive feature which i am not as familiar with. somehow its process creates a *.impulse file that can then be moved and restored via impulse. if you go this route, follow kitkun's info above. g

I recently installed Fences to try it out on my work PC. Win XP Pro SP2 IE 7 Then, whenever I locked the workstation, a window Start Menu\Programs would be opened. When I unlocked, there the window sat, waiting for me. After I uninstalled Fences the problem went away. I don't really need a fix or anything, I just wanted to toss the behavior out in the open so could be checked into. Cheers.

since its your license it wont be an issue. i have sins on a laptop and my desktop at home, plus my wife will run it on her desktop for lan games. since we have a maximum of two installs running on my license at once within my lan, i beleive we are completely in agreement with the eula. sd please correct me if im wrong.

[quote who="KellenDunk" reply="21" id="2354853"]I gave up and sent it in, it turns out I was eligible for an accidental damage warranty on it. Replaced the screen on my wife's machine myself. My machine is currently on a fedEx truck on it's way home. note, that dead astroids will not bring in tax income. unless you need a dead astriod for a bottleneck or staging area they can be ignored. as TEC you can with the technology researched add one station to dead astroids. so you could add a trade port or broadcast center to them which would make the much more valuable. but of course takes a lot of time and resource to get to that point. finally, the low impact planets like astroids and dead astroids, astroid be
