im a little lost on the point here... are these movies that would make for interesting games? half of the posts are movies are already made into games. some, time and time again like tron and starwars. if its movies that would make interesting games, how about Red Dawn (1984)? Sandbox enviroment. 3rd person tactical shooter with RPG elements. AI friendlies for squad combat or web play with others. a town that can be accessed

plenty of processor power, but idk about the video card. that really does tell us the model. 3gb of ram would be best in your case also. all that is true about the 32bit etc, but really the video card seems to be the biggest bottleneck on most systems. i know i have the same issue.
good points to all in the discussion. ultimately it comes down to a difference in opinion. impulse to me is a tool to manage my games and software. i have all my registeration in one place. i can print those out, download full offline copies of the games, and use the tool to install between my home systems as needed. if i rebuild a machine, i reinstall from the web and dont have to deal with scratched cds my kid thought was a frisbee or digging out some box to fi
as for costs, i beleive i have seen the Pro version on sale for a considerable discount in the past. Whenever rolls around again, its definately a nice grab. stardock support is all over this product too. they watch the forums and answer direct questions quickly. to many people, especially those that are less technical, it is worth the $20 higher cost. using impusle is another perk. clean install, easy setup, intuitive and clean interface. these are
its does this when docked to the right/left and the second monitor is there as well. not sure if it is a "bug" though. it may have just been designed this way originally. im sure they will everntually change it or it may even be fixed in the full version. i ended up just docking the bar somewhere else. problem solved. i havent heard of anyone using this yet in sins, but you never know. which list did you see sins on? i only found this one... http://support.amd.com/us/eyefinity/Pages/eyefinity-software.aspx if the technology just sees the three screens as a single large screen then you shouldnt have any trouble. there are ways to force the resolution as well as view the game in a window. check o
i suppose i personally dont understand why you wouldnt want impulse to handle the update process. i would much rather impulse handle my updates than have to plug in some serial number every time. impulse doesnt blast you with ads. on startup it checks for updates for you so you are always current. if you dont want impulse it can be uninstalled. i suppose if you didnt buy w/e game you are trying to update and a buddy just gave you the reg code, then impulse would
another success story... my mother-in-law had two complete systems on her desk and was constantly switching mice and keyboards. multiplicity fit her situation perfectly. stardock has been helpful working through technical bumps and now she can easily switch between pc's by simply moving the mouse. i chose stardock's product for her basically on knowing this community, the support provided by stardock, and the quality of work the devs put into the work. combin
i cant read this post seriously. ive tried...several times in fact. i just cant do it.
if you are looking at this forum through impulse, you need to note there are expanded forums available directly on the Sins web site. check out this link for more... https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com

"supposed to be able to phase jump between friendly phase stabilizers " i dont beleive this is a feature.
one possibility is that i was attacking vasari structures and they were phasing out. i will need to test scenarios against the other races to be sure. i just dont remember the exact setup before.
great article.

pretty sure. they very specifically attacked each target once. there were maybe 30 squadrons total. each one did the same thing.
hi all, i noticed an odd behavior this morning. in entrenchment, latest version, i assinged multiple targets to my vasari bombers. the bombers attached each target with one pass only. after they finished the designated orders they flew off and attacked w/e targets the AI wanted them to. this obviously created a problem since none of the manually assigned targets were destroyed. i will try to replicate tonight. has anyone else seen this issue?
Chuck Norris won the first diplomacy victory before the load screen appeared.
well, macro economics at one point taught the best way to escape recession is to spend your way out of it.
also notable is that Fences Pro is only $10 at the moment. [e digicons][/e]
this thread would die, except that it is about Chuck Norris.
ive been a pc gamer for 2 decades now. the only thing that draws me to consoles is price. in some cases i can argue that the community doesn't hack as much, but in playing Modern Warfare 2 on XBox, i know thats not true. As soon as a hack is discovered it is exploited to the point that game becomes "unfun". of course the happens in the pc world too.
fyi... here is my data for control purposes. WinXP sp3 NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 Intel 6300 Core 2 2GB RAM 8 fences in use v1.00.2787
not sure. you could always inspect the txt files that control those values. however, i dont remember seeing any change logs regarding the starbases.
i bought it on last year on impulse. loads of fun. tons of mods if youre into that sort of thing. the fun factor definately out paces the graphics. they have been working on a multiplayer thats been in beta. maybe its closer to release.
