Downloading patches problem - please help! in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

So i bought sins around when it first came out, thought it was a great game but the AI needed some work and the factions were a bit off balance, so i decided to un-install it and wait untill some good patches came out and possible some expansions b4 i would come back out to the galatic warfare front. i found that to be true as well... it almost seems that the AI all form peace with each other to gang up on you.. pretty much ruined the diplomacy option for me, i always lock the teams now. i think if the game started with everyone at cease fire the problem might resolve itself.
