My favorite interpretation that somebody posted here on the forums was the idea that it's all a great big psychological study being played on the Vasari Exodus Fleet by the (still fully intact) Home Empire. Too funny.

Reapers don't have anything on the Shivans, they were the original "OH SH**" badass invading alien race. Reapers have some damn big shoes to fill if they ever want to scare me the way the Shivans did. <br

[quote who="Whiskey144" reply="3" id="2918740"]@OP- no, there isn't an official novel for Sins. For the forseeable future, I rather doubt that there will be. That said, there are some excellent fanfics on the forums. Quoting sareth01, reply 2Hmm seems like Ironclad should keep its promise on having an "in depth storyline" by bringing it to life in a book. I know I would buy it and it would be a great way to renew interest and sales in the game. Perhaps th

I don't want to see Titans vulnerable to bombers; they're already good enough. You should need cap ships or cruisers to even have a prayer of taking down a ship that big, small craft should do little more than dent it. Would also shake up the normal fleet dynamic.

I love this game, and will almost definitely be buying Rebellion, but they won't be seeing a preorder from me until I get some concrete gameplay info (i.e. videos). Allowing preorders before we've even seen the product seems a little daft.

Hey all, I recently installed GalCiv II Ultimate Edition. The normal game works fine for me; I can start up a normal, unmodified game and play it through with no issues. However, when I attempt to play one of the custom scenarios such as Power Duel, the game crashes on loading the map. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks!

I'm fairly confident that you could get Freespace equivalents for every Sins class, and the small craft don't have to be different, just vary the models, so sometimes you get ulysses, myrmidons, ares, etc. You could always make up your own ships in the style of Freespace, or, if there isn't enough Vasudan stuff for a sta

This game is awesome, if you make a mod, that would be SWEET. I love this game, and it'd lend itself well to a mass-battle game like sins; in fact, the concept of jump nodes is extremely similar to that of phase lanes! :D

I think that new forms of victories would be nice, and blieve it's a no-brainer that these will be included in an expansion or something sooner or later. It's also annoying when you get impossible or retarded missions like "destroy 5 tactical structures" and they haven't built any in the systems you can reach (although perhaps they should have...lol) thus essentially making the mission an auto-fail. Mission system is good, but it could use some work.

Please continue, this looks awesome! :) I play BFG TT (which is still alive, btw! ^^) and a Sins mod for it would be super-awesome.
