If you aren't geared towards minions, meaning morale and minion boosting gear, you aren't really a 'minion oak' - you just have spirits.
RapierX
Anklet/Blood are both solid choices, but there are several other worthy favor items.
There is no way in hell a minion Oak will win a fight against a non-minion Sedna. Especially if the oak only has 1 point in Penitence.
Clueless.
Outplay them? Or since you probably think the game's already over just quit since it's in 3 minutes. Clearly that's the only choice.
Do you know a damn thing about this game? Seriously. Also: This is assuming even skill levels. Yes, you can beat terrible people despite this.
Not if you chose random heroes. Maybe....try it?
Ok, and if it came up Sedna Sedna vs LE Oak what would you do? That's pretty much an autolose if erebus/oak are smart enough to go minions to exploit sedna's god awful lack of AoE. I don't know about you, but dice-rolls like that aren't my thing.
Minion Oak would win this easy as hell for a few reasons.
Quoting RapierX, reply 8 In addition to Shadow's answer, I think 2v2 blows. That was merely an example. Both sides can accept additional players and do a little bit of stat researching to ensure they are of roughly equal level, if it really matters that much.
Defeats the point, I refuse to play with randoms in any game 99% of the time.
Cloak of Plentiful Mana is really junky, my team has tried it out some even getting it's effects on 2 chars a decent amount. End result, it's a sub-par favor item.
B: split up their little friend group as evenly as possible between both Light and Dark teams? For example, a four-man premade can just as well do a 2v2 match all on their own.
In addition to Shadow's answer, I think 2v2 blows.
People who play random think they are cooler than people who don't. True story.
QFT
I don't view 1v1 as an intended gametype, and the game isn't balanced for it anyway. Can you play it? Sure. Consider that there's 8 maps - 1 2v2, 2 3v3, 2 4v4, 3 5v5 maps and you can see that the intended team size is primarily 3 - 5 players per team. Personally I think the game doesn't play well enough until 3v3+ but that's my opinion.
Priest change was a positive change imo. It's not just a skip to cata's anymore, priests can actually be a choice without feeding the shit out of your enemy. It's not a must have omg right now upgrade like currency, you get it when you need it. Seriously, priests were a laughable upgrade at best prior to the change.
Playing teamgame means that any player of your team can beat any player of OP team. It's a matter of balance. If this Rule not works then U cant tell about game balance. I'm pretty sure there's no UB that can beat LE with minions build or good Sedna in 1v1 game. So the same situation will be in team game where U'll need at least two teammates to get Sedna back from position if U're not Sedna or LE. Something like that.
Totem is completely outclassed by Ring. Tome is a weak-ass middleground item 130 minion hp is crap compared to horn, and horn also gives +10 regen to demigod. Sure you lose out on 400hp but this is way in favor of horn imo.
Quoting ItchyDustbin, reply 4 Quoting tombonator1, reply 2horn of battle effect needs to be the same as it would be on a demigod in that if the minion takes dmg, it loses the 200 hp effect So what you're saying is they might as well delete it? Because turning it into wings of the seraphim for minions would make it even more useless than some of the other already ba
Because you have to stop to read it and to type it, you don't have to look away from the action to hear voice. No, I meant I don't see how voices as opposed to chat are more important in FPS games as opposed to strategy games.
I'm guessing you have never played an FPS at a competitive level.
Voice in an FPS is way less important than in a strategy game. When the couple things you need to say are "uber now" or "SPY BEHIND YOU!" and the minimal penalties for death voice chat is a lot less important, especially due to the hotkey shouts like "Spy!" "Medic" "Go go go" and such.
I'd say its quite the opposite - at least with competitive players.
Quoting BobWI, reply 3 3 games a day in pugs. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you only play pugs then you are not in a position to offer credible opinions on balance. Sorry.
QFT
God forbid mines are useful.
Bad map design, nothing else.
Because it's not my job to fix the Friends messaging system. I also dislike using more than 1 IM. Additionaly, there is high chance that Demigod will crash when you alt-tab to use the external IM.
XFire doesn't require alt tabbing.
The way the stats/rankings work is a joke anyway. :/
Shouldn't have chanced it without me. =P
Blah Blah Blah mudzis personly i hate snipe and i hate regulus. theres probly nothing wrong with his mine build. dont bagg it cous you like the overplayed cheapness kill steal build.
If you're playing regulus and not getting 1 pt of snipe you better have a damn good reason for it. Honestly though, I'm not seeing it and the build looks like junk to me. :/
From what I heard he had a random first game, and crashed the second. And before you say he didn't crash, he was dropping out of games all day since the patch.
