So I was checking out fansites and noticed a familiar name from the board. Very nice job, I reccomend you all check this out. Lugge is obviously someone with a strong grasp of Sin's concepts and over all winning RTS style/gameplay. The research trees with the info cards where well appreciated as well. Best fansite I've seen--Best content anyway. GO check it out. http://www.clansofsin.com/7sins

As you play the game more youll start to remember what research upgrades cost what and what they do. the litle pictures help you remember pretty well. From being in he beta I know what im going for and what i need b4 i get it.
I think you really need to incorporate research into this guide too. Alot of people (expected) are having trouble with "Build Orders" You really need to focus on your economy early and espessaly upgrade your planets (new and home) Military research really isnt that benifical untill you have your second planet (although you may wnt to begin building your milt research centers a little earlier.) What matters is gettin that money flowing so you can get more hips and urther upgrade your planets, I
Ok so i was in beta for a few months. Ive always thought of the Flak fridgate as the "Anti Fridagateship" ship. After all it has almost dbl the armor and shields of the cobalt and does double dmg (cobalt does 9 (base) Flak does 19(base) So I read the PDF manual and it says the flak is for fighters and bomber wings?? Also somting about how the flak can NOT stand up to fridgates?? Can this be true? I mean with the stats how can the flak not be the best for taking out en
Mude Truly amazing! I have never seen a RTS game filled with so much depth like Soase does. Posted Feb 5, 2008 4:37 am GMT Recommended by 20 out of 22 users. The game does have a steep learning curve because of all the different things you have to familiarize yourself with. It took me around 3hours to learn the basics, but once I got my hang around things I had a blast playing my first game which lasted for 10hours. Very unusual for a RTS game. I found the gamepla
So there are 5 reviews for SINS (including mine) Lowest score is 7.5 highest is 9.5. Overall great reception from the players. The only negitive comment was about a lack of "4x" fel that was anticipated. However that revier did say it was a great RTS and a buy for sure and gave SINS a 9.0 Pretty cool, the reviews are good, and as far as the GS boards(gaeFAQs) goes along with reviews SINS is going to have a great MP community.
Well I must say i love the new improved sins, Ai is definatly better. i played my first game on medium and they had more planets then me in the first 30min. i still won but it was only meium and not only did the AI colonize and build well but it used the markets and pirates too. im intrested to try the hard AI in an FFA or team game. i hope its good as 1 on 1 pvp games with 2 AI could be sweet if the AI was good. Ally opportunitys and bribes, forign trading....i hope tis game breaks throuh as

But there could be a serious tactical advantage to place orbitals OVER or UNDEr the planet as it would take longer for enemies to reach them and you could deal with more of them before they even reach it. Not really if their range is sphereicle. Draw it out...you can see that turrets ar more effective along the equater of the planet in terms of dealing with fleet phasing in from hyper space, the only advantage of having turrets at the poles would be a
LOL GR graphics better then sins....LOL Not only does SINS look great and have sweet particle effects but IT NEVER LAGS!! NOT ONCE has since even so much as stammered! And thats the BETA. Never, It has played perfectly no mater what zoom level no matter how many ships. An the detail is increadable. When you upgrade lasers say, They actually change color! SINS gets a 10 for graphics in my book not only because it looks fantastic but the quality is amazing...AND this is
Yeah, After reading through more reviews (previews) of Lost:Immortals it seems more like GalCiv 2 then SINS. Looks alright though, Definatly a game i'd have to demo before i buy it.
It's a text based game?
yeah I just saw the gameplay video, mabey does seem a little more Gal Civ2, Diddnt realize it was turnbased at first.
