I just tried again and it worked for me this time. Awesome!

Hi Stardock, I am having the same problem as many with retrieving my Steam key. I have Galciv 4: Supernova on Epic Games. When I click the Key Transport link to submit my Epic ID and email address, it immediately responds with an error occurred trying to validate your information. I would very much love to have this game hosted in my Steam library. Waiting on this to be corrected. Thank you!!!
The ship leveled up
The solution to all of this pain would be if we could "control" each of our ships (if we so chose) for each battle (again, if we so chose). We could then select how many ships targeted the enemy, how many fired, where the ships maneuvered, what they did during battle, where they attempted to flee or not or self destruct, and which weapons to fire on each enemy ship. Master of Orion 1 and 2 did that masterfully as well as other gems including Interstellar Space: Genesis, which was modeled afte
Wow, this post went from "I would like a clear explanation" (emphasis mine) to Dragon's breath in just a few minutes. You went from sort of nice to I hate all of you guys at Stardock and I hate all of your products and I hate all of my fellow Gal Civ 4 players!! I hate you all!! lol Have you ever heard of the truism "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar"? You could have left out that last paragraph entirely and been far more effective in your messaging.
It is annoying to me as well. This is why I rely heavily on save / reload.
I had an Alliance with the Terran Resistance. After a while, I got a popup stating "an agreement with the Terran Resistance has ended". I checked and the Alliance was dissolved. I was able to quickly and easily re-establish the Alliance, but this is annoying. An Alliance shouldn't automatically expire. I don't know of a single case in history (though, admittedly I don't know ALL of human history) where an Alliance automatically expires. I don't believe that is the case with NATO, for
I have noticed EVERY single starbase that the AI deploys are ONLY Culture starbases. Awesome that the AI knows how to use Culture starbases, but kind of lame that this is the only strategy they know how to use. I have found in my current game playthrough that I must wipe out "friendly" races to me (Torians, in this case) simply because their culture was beginning to overwhelm me. So, I killed off the Torians and went after the Drengi next. So far, every starbase they have created are ALL Cult
I agree with Derek with how he has described the difference between a "colony" world and a "core" world. This is how I imagined it also. I do see a potential peculiar "issue" that is not too likely to happen, but it could conceivably happen. Imagine you're at war with the Drengin, you conquer their home world of Drengi that had a population of 15. It took you 10 turns, but it is now yours. On turn 11, a Drengin fleet arrives and wipes out your fleet, while another fleet OR single ship
Lol, yeah have to agree this kind of stuff needs to be tweaked and re-balanced. A "vast quantity of Elerium" is NEVER only +1 Elerium. I would think 15, 20, 25 would be vast. Otherwise, don't use Vast and don't make these kinds of battles so hard with little rewards for the effort.
Buffing the military staircases is something we are adding sooner rather than later.
What are "military staircases"? For a moment, I really got excited about the potential Doomsday weapon that is the military staircases!! LOL
Version: 1.0 Details: At game setup, the trait "Veteran" shows no numerical value for experience gained or lost. I don't know if this is just missing data at setup or if it is actually not applied to a race during gameplay. I don't believe I have played a race with this trait yet. How to reproduce: At Setup </p
