I was wondering: in Windows XP, is it possible to change the size of the icons on your desktop from the default of 32x32? I would like to get some big, sexy 128x128 or so icons on there. Is there any hope of that?

AIMutation is decent, but it doesn't work for version 6. When AOL released version 6, it was such an interface overhaul that they still offer version 5 for download as "AIM Classic." It's just such an ugly interface..

Does anyone know if it's possible to skin AIM 6.0? I know there were plugins for version 5 that allowed it. And yes, I know there are programs out there like Trillian that can be skinned, I just like AIM's software better.

Oh wow I didn't expect to hear that someone else has this problem. Maybe there really is a bug?? Anyway, I am now using all PNGs on my dock, and I have stored them all in ObjectDock's images folder. So we'll see how it goes now.

The big switch in Windows Vista WinCustomize Forums

I'm thinking about making the switch from XP to Vista on my machine. This may sound like a rookie question, but will it be easy to get all my stardock software (ObjectDock Plus, Windowsblinds etc) back up and running once I install the new OS? What is the procedure - will I be able to re-download all the software?

I keep them in My Documents/My Icons. It just seems very random because a particular icon will work for a long time, and then suddenly will get lost. I wonder if there's another app that's messing with them??

So I have been using ObjectDock happily for some time now, and I have encountered a rather peculiar problem. Every once in a while when I boot up my computer, I will get a dialog box that says "Error opening file: c:/etc,etc.random icon.ico." It appears one of my dock icon files (which I never move around on my hard drive) decided to go missing! The question mark placeholder shows up on the dock in its place, and if I search for the icon through explorer, it's really gone!! Are my icons deleting
