Lag is starting to get me, just going through the next steps in the game, I get lag, building things on planets, or in ship yard. It's becoming a really big drag. https://www.dropbox.com/s/05jsn1kpeg9aw8p/45Test02B3.GC4Sav?dl=0 I have a Ryzen 16 core 32 thread CPU 64 GB Memory

Rushing an artifact appears to destroy it. It also gives the incorrect description of rushing fusion power plant even though I'm on Empathy Engine Study. Notice after rushed it is now gone?
If you get more than four artifacts in a game, it will place them on a second line. However, if you reload that same game, it will place them all back on the first line, and you won't be able to access the far left artifacts until you use up the right ones first. Only the first 5 artifacts to the right can be used when they are all listed on the bottom line.
text error, "+10% Ship Rangeto all Ships", should read "+10% Ship Range to all Ships"
I can build on every tile of this class six planet https://www.dropbox.com/s/c10ye5g9y8qg1zx/45Test02B2.GC4Sav?dl=0
Still getting a lot of lag after I start to move away from my home sector. Very noticeable when trying to quickly queue up ships, multiple clicks only acknowledge 1-3 clicks, instead of 5 or 6. Early in game this is not an issue. Not an issue w/ my PC as 64gb memory, Ryzen 16 core cpu.
I loaded the save and found what I was looking for. Sentry doesn't work because there is a foreign ship in sensor range.
This is why we need guard mode or just standby until further orders....
dulled out square grid lines over the hexes.
Executive orders still resetting after reload of the game. (cheat)
No that's my colony ship.
New bug... Current game, survey ship has lost it's sentry option, It's still there but will not allow me to re-engage it. (was present in previous builds.) <a class="anchor-3Z-8Bb anchorUnderlineOnHover-2ESHQB" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Whitney, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, san
Scratch this post... I was proven incorrect :D
The game certainly has room to place each player in their own sector. But what we found (for most players) is that going 100 turns without ever running into anyone (because they are in other sectors) is very boring.
Lol, you got me. I guessing that is a rip against my feedback post about the first 100 turns being boring. However, I do think there may be different ways of doing this.
Sure you did, but did you click the Check mark after you edited? Have caught myself doing that. Also until they activate custom factors you can copy paste your description in documents on your computer. It's a pita but saves retyping each game. This has worked for me before.
Yes, the text is boring such as this is a test.
I customized the leader for the terrans, but still shows DL Bradley....
Per the changelog for .45 This is for version 0.45.188724 AI players won't start as close to the human player... (Really)? Is it possible they could have started any closer? Also states Decreased the number of players that start in the players starting sector. I'm still getting up to 3 other factions in my starting sector.
Post for 0.45.188724 Game still doesn't recognize any customized text you place in the faction screen when building the game. I customized the terrans text but still shows the default text when the game launches. There also needs to be a copy/paste/delete all option in those text boxes so one doesn't need to retype things each time they create a new faction. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/26/6/2606837/b2e4be24-2234-4dfe-9c4c-cd56da3da612.png"
Good Morning All, Thanks Stardock for the many years of great games. The Beginning of Time GalCiv II & GalCiv III When you start a game you have an empty slate full of endless possibilities. This is wonderful for the creative minds
Is there any way of getting culture points reliably? I am turn 242 and only have gotten 4 culture points.
Not that we've figured out as of yet. Because it's alpha most likely the majority of these haven't been added, but just a few put in place to confirm process is working. The whole culture point system is being reworked.

Starbase says I can upgrade, however, no available modules to upgrade...
The game starts to crawl, or lag as the game goes on. I have an AMD Ryzen 16 core 32 thread cpu w/ 64 gb memory, GPU is used 50% capacity. Not sure where the lag is coming in from. Only using 10GB memory and 8% of cpu power. https://www.dropbox.com/s/owqyfbyluodhtdm/Test08.GC4Sav?dl=0
It's hard to tell with a static picture, however, the icons on the top of the screen starting w/ assension crystals keep glitching out, as if the game is trying to add a different icon and move everything over one, then decides not to. Okay this is the best image, note assension crystals aren't even there.
Maybe this is a BOF? It seems logical, and fun, to me that scoring a colony ship from a defeated shipyard would not include population. That would yield at least three choices: use as a pop mover, collect a new founding prop 'ahead of schedule,' or station somewhere awaiting pop growth before boarding colony founders. Functioning like that would also duck any vexing results of adding yet another species join your faction.<br /
