This would indeed be a nice enhancement to the game! How about: - allow any percentage of the population to be conscripted, anytime - conscripts cost money, instead of generating net income - troop effectiveness increases over time spent on land (no training effect while on board transports), from virtually useless to Marine efficiency
On the forum, and the internet in general, the rules are of course different. In fact, for the most part there are no rules, and playing grammar police becomes futile if not downright silly. However, for those who can see them, the poor grammar is distracting while playing the game. Worse off are those who can't see the errors - kids and non-native speakers mostly - who because of galciv wind up thinking that "loose" is indeed the opposite of "win". IMHO, Stardock makes
I restarted the game from a previous autosave, and it worked. I'm now past the point where I kept crashing the game, so there really must have been something wrong with that particular Quicksave situation. kryo, if you guys can figure out what went wrong, it may help when the situation recurs. But right now I'm moving forward with my game.

I checked situation after the Quicksave, and one of my opponents has 1bc, so I guess that means he's broke. I gave him 100bc for free, but it still makes no difference. There's still the error. Should I try giving him more?
Please help! My gc2 installation worked for a while, but now crashes when I press TURN after loading my last Quicksave.
