I was just wondering how many billions of years in the future Gal Civ is supposed to take place, since the galaxy is littered with stellar remnants? From a game play point of view, it kinda sucks to have 55% dead white dwarf systems. And raising the number of "stars" to abundant just yields even more of these. I bought the Terran Alliance DLC (so now I'm back to having all of the DLCs) in case it was something fixable that way, but no.
