So, one bug that was plaguing me is fixed - in single player skirmish, if you try to change demi-gods, they would CHANGE in the lobby, but not when the game launched.. (I hate having to shoot arrows into myself...) But now I can't play more than 4-5 minutes before the game crashes. Anyone else? John

I just wish when you highlighted the item, it would show you what it was... some things look quite similar, especially sensors look like armor, and some engines look alike. It's great to be able to see them all lined up at the top of the screen, but why can't you see WHAT it is when you mouse over it??

Some of you guys are referring to the wrong mission, if I understand the original poster. Mission 4 - achilies heal. Ow, that mission is killing me. There are some bugs too, I think. I can't research any missle or mass driver techs. I took over a DL world and got this "super tech" mass driver tech that 'distorted flesh too' or somethign like that... and it never showed in my build option lists... And when you turn down the difficulty, your allies get stupider too, i

you misread. Being able to set up a ship queue is NOT micromanagement.... say I set up a queue to build one transport and 3 frigates. A queue would really enable 'me' to schedule these to emerge at the same time. This could be great against dreadlords, because they show up about a turn or two after you've buil

I would like to see a shipyard queue. and a system by which multiple ships could be crafted in the same shipyard at the same time - this would be more realistic than having 1wk to go on a cargo and you change it to some beam heavy small hull and it's instantly made. If you had a queu, you could keep the original hull under construction, or sacrifice it (like destroying an old hull) for some bp. I dont care how long the turns are, as long as I don't have to go crazy micromanaging

This has been a problem in the Civilization games too (you know, Sid Meyer et. al.) They fixed it in the latest for just the reasons that you indicate - takes the 'micromanagemeent' of each planet each turn off the table. I for one whole heartedly support this type of change. If it means that all production costs have to be increased a fraction to offset some perceved 'bonus', that would be cool. There is no logical reason for a 160 cost figher to cost 300+ just because the planet

Ok. I tried a cobo of this (cargo hulls with lots of beams) - dred lords had SHIELDS! WTF! I lasted a bit longer this time, and re-took planet 3 times. First time I got no tech at all second and third time I got some awesome techs, but they didi not help much... except as trade bait for my allies - getting all their tech and cash helped keep me around a little longer. but then DL had 3 escorts an

I've played Achillies heel 4 times now... and can't seem to win... what's the secret? I'm trading tech with my 'allies', and they all seem to have a ton of colony and transport ships built, so they always take over invaded planets, but then out come a few dredlord escorts and all my bases are shreded....no matter what I have in fleet. I've tried individual ships with 6 beam, swarms of fighters with 1 or 2 beam... arrgh. Why can't you search on these forums??
