textures still not loading in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Well i decided to retry this game after 5 months, and still the textures disappear completley after i save my game. I was hoping it might have been fixed by now.

I tried the language fix, updating my drivers and a host of other options, the game loaded tectures fine in the first 2 hours, then I get nothing. Disapointing to say the least. Unless some concrete fix is made I will be returning this game, i love space empire sims, but i can't stand half ass releases plagued with bugs. The amount of legwork the users are forced to do on a broken product is a very poor reflection on the developers work ethic. fu
