Graphics? issue in Dark Avatar GalCiv2 Forums

When playing DA I have some screen stutter when zooming in and out using the mouse wheel and when clicking and dragging the map. It also does the same thing when ships move and when I drag the sliders for taxes, etc. I don't have any of thosde problems playing Dread Lords. Everyhting is just as smooth as can be. What could be the issue? I tried lowering the graphics setting and also AA but the problem is still there.

I was playing around with the game options on my office computer and set the display setting too high for my monitor. Now when I try to start the game my screen goes black. How can I change the screen resolution back to what I had previously?
