When I attack an enemy colony ship, rather then destroy it, I take it over. Is this an ability of the Yor or a bug? Regards

Trying to play this on another computer, but save game is not available. Are Cloud Saves enabled for GalCivIV? I have the feature turned on in the Epic Launcher on both computers.
