GalCiv2 ForumsI'd buy one. I enjoy the game loads on SP, but I'd love to be able to play my brother and see who is the better. I'd definitely buy one.

Some things I know that help are population and techs researched. As well as the obvious killing your enemies. I also read somewher on the forums that your final score is divided by the number of years you're playing, so finish them off quick.

Okay, I know it doesn't affect the game in any huge way, I was just wondering if anyone else has had the problem whereby the game videos simply stop. For example, even though I have started up the game several times, I have only been able to enjoy the opening clip fully once. Every other time, it will stop part way through. What reall confuses me as that the sounds of the clip will continue, but the picture won't. Same thing happens with clips in sandbox games, like when you first invade a plane

What I don't get, these Precusror Ships (Arnor I assume) are so damn slow, yet the Dread Lord Craft are way faster and ergo a much bigger threat.....no wonder they were winning.

I have my own laptop, as well as a household PC. Laptop playability definitely matters, to me at least. I never play games on the Desktop.
