In Start11 if you have enhanced taskbar turned on then try turning it off . See if that works for you this is a known issue with some MS versions till they release a newer version.
I can't turn it off. I click on enabled and it doesn't change, it just expands or retracts the options. I think I will uninstall this for the time being.

Since I installed this a couple of days ago, clicking on the start menu does nothing, it doesn't matter which style I use, I have to disable it or use the default windows 11 menu (not the style, though). So, basically, I don't have a working Start 11.
Agreed. On top of that, I'd like to see the option to eject the ship from the ship list, instead of selecting the planet and then ejecting it.
No, not for me, I can't cast any strategic spells.
This is the final nail in the coffin. I was ignoring all the hate threads and reviews, but this has killed the campaign for me. I had spent over 6 hours of play in the game. I don't have that much time to play, so 6 hours is a great deal to me, and now, all I have done is for nothing?. To hell Stardock, this is the last time I pre-order a game of yours (I did it with sins, demigod and this one), I'll buy it when it's cheap (10€) and has been completely developed.
Gotta multi-task. No offense. put your towers down, at a flag, go to the next, if you have it, go defend a different one. If you have them all? push. If you already pushed, used your money to upgrade your CIT and go help kill the enemy. I think you still dont understand... whoever gets the most in THAT catagory gets the rep points, its not based on anything else.<
I tried lik 10 games today. I played one. Spent one hour waiting and 20 minutes playing. So it is going bad atm.
Quoting valrond, reply 5Favor points should be based on your performance. They are. If you do better, you win more favor points. Performance doesn't just come down to killing/staying alive, it judges how well you helped the team by capturing flags/buying citadel upgrades as well (which is how it should be.) Ok, so it's better to just go for one or two things and get the most in them than playing better. That's cool. I mean, that's NOT cool. Favor points should be based on your performance. I say they need reworking, or players in losing teams will just go for some category (like flags) to get a few points, condemning the team to lose, instead of trying to play the game.
I just finished my first online game. I lost, it was slaughter mode. I was the only one of my team killing opponent demigods (4 or the 5 kills are mine), and not getting killed as much in the proccess (4 out of the 20 deaths). Yet I get only 10 favor points, same as the guy going 0-9 and less than the 25 that the guy doing 1-6 got. Ok, this can be considered a team game, I did stick in the center of the map (it was prison), put my towers there and didn't venture alone i
I download full games to try them out and then decide on the buy. I think that's OK, even if it is somewhat illegal. What I think it's not only illegal but inmoral is to download a game, have fun with it playing a lot of time, and not paying the money it's worth. I didn't download Demigod. I got the pre-order a long time ago, over six months. It isn't the first game I pre-order from Stardock, the other one was Sins of a Solar Empire. That's what happens when a company earns your trust
I'm more annoyed that the game has so many damn bugs and crashes.. not to mention the MP issues and saving my passwords in plain-text. Where the hell was Stardock's QA team?
What bugs and crashes?. I have played many games in my desktop and my laptop and no crashes.
Really?. I opened the file and found only the configuration (screen resolution, visual detail, etc). Thanks anyway, I'll try it next time.

I'm playing Demigod in both my Desktop and Laptop, and I need to copy the savegame file where the persistent favors for SP are stored. Does anyone know where in the HDD are they stored? I tried \Documents and Settings\Local Configuration\Program Data\Gas Powered Games but it's only the cache and preferences.
Nice review. I agree with you in all the points. I'd give it an 8.5 right now, even with the MP transitory problems, and a 9.0 or 9.5 when they're solved.

It's been a loooong time since I read a review from Gamespot. At one time I had it at my #1 site for reviews, now it's just a site with poor reviews and terrible scores, depending a lot on the name of the game and the money the companies put on them. Age of Conan got an 8.5! And it really sucked when it was released. But hey, it doesn't matter, we get good money. They reviewd a pre-realease copy of Lost Odyssey and said a lot of things that where not true, like the looong loading times and a
We have seen examples of planet-based weapons in sci-fi. Just as I was reading this post, I thought of the Ion Cannon on Hoth (Star Wars V), able to disable a Star Destroyer on orbit, the Ion Cannon on Stargate SG-1, that did the same to the Goa'uld motherships Ha'tak, the Ancients chair in Antarctica and Atlantis with the guided drones could kill almost anything. I think it they should be allowed, short-range, obviously, but able to destroy the planet-bombing frigates the AI likes to
Historically, in real life, the only real counter to fighters and bombers were... fighters. That's it. Flak has always been highly ineffective, even vs linear, constant speed moving bombers like the B-17 runs at nazi Germany. In modern times, SAM are the only effective static defense, and still it isn't as effective as a good fighters. Now, going into Sci-fi, except for Star Trek, in every other major (or minor) Sci-fi movie, fighters (and bombers) are countered by other fighters: Star
