I'm confused. In both this and in dev journal 9, all the features you list as "new to supernova".. are in fact in GalCiv IV "base game" on Epic now. Except possibly for the "deeper tech tree" which is a bit vague. Can always be deeper. I didn't particularly see any of the flaws sited here, my issues were things like.. MP effectively didn't work... Which is just a feature fail for bugginess. Also had this problem at certain points in time in GalCiv III, as various

I convinced a friend of mine to buy GalCivIV so we could play together, and of course, we immediately ran into the disconnect when the AI fights pirates bug. This happens... all the time. Given this is a well known bug, I noticed it wasn't fixed in 1.12, does anyone know (SD?) when it is slated to be fixed?

I can't seem to figure out how to sponsor a starbase in this version of galciv. Is it just not implemented yet? Or is there a tech wall or some such? Seems like Mars ought to be able to sponsor your starting starbase as well as Earth, for example. Anyone know?

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, or maybe I'm missing something, but... Not infrequently, I get anomalies that reveal some broken down weapons technology that is not a module. The options on this event are typically, "get +2 to {some} weapon stat on your ship" or "research this tech". The latter option starts a quest to research the tech, which thus far I've never seen the option for, but I assume that's just because I don't have all the prereqs yet.
