I've messed around with MapSizeDefs.xml and .xsd until I'm blue in the face. 5 0.01 It's always 4 or 5 Precursor worlds. I even tried changing the max habitable planets thinking there was some setting somewhere that based prescursor world on total habitable planets. No l

Yeah ocean worlds gone and BOB is gone. Also, with the cultural starbase techs, the "Hive Mind" tech can be researched but does not show up as a module to be built in the starbase. Things got buggy on techs recently. Happy about the tech tree being back though.
I really hate the epic launcher but my gosh, passing on Gal Civ because of a crappy UI aggregator? Not this guy. Shut up and take my money.
What do we want? A TECH TREE. When do we want it? NOW. Haha! But seriously. Stop the madness, bring back the tech tree. Sincerely, -Tech library hater
[quote who="Tue" reply="7" id="3833236"] Galaxy creation leaves a lot to be desired after 0.65ish. I've yet to see more than 5-6 sectors on the second highest size and they're always connected like pearls on a string so there's a max of two substreams in any sector. With 15 ai races that means that both exploration (you pretty much know how many races will be in each sector and since there's only five or six you can explore all of it very quickly) and expansion (given th
With respect to your comment, my finger is tired from all the scrolling. Also, assigning a colony to a specific core world is what I've been wanting in the updates too! Thought I was the only one.
If AI are going to rush starbases like they rush planets I'm going to want to trade for their starbases. Otherwise the only mechanic to obtain the starbases after trade planets/starbases was removed now is to go to war with them, which is uninspiring to say the least. Can we get the option back? Also, for the love of all that's good, can we get repeat build in the shipyard for missions. It's already there for ships, but not missions. Mid and late
Rats. I rather enjoyed trading for those items. Particularly starbases. You think theyre gone for good or just a temp balance? Not sure why the option would be removed completely tbh.
Like the title says, I started a new game up and no longer have the ability to trade for a planet or starbase. It's just gone. I read through the notes and didn't see it being removed but maybe I missed it? Neither the AI or myself have it listed as an option on diplomacy.
