I'd guess that Random choosing will be implemented sooner rather then later in upcoming 'game' patches. I think it is an essential feature to keep games interesting. Random anyrthing is a good thing.

There is no time in this game to question stuff. Orders are simple, they should not order everything perhaps, but there needs to be a general guidance. If your an independent player, why did you buy the game?
Shield should be the top priority. It saves your teammates asses. In all Honestly, Spikes is the last set of skills i upgrade when i'm after level 15. I don't do mulch, and I use a primarely support build. The only question i have for myself is I usually go allthe way in compost, but I honestly have no idea how much of an effect it has on my minions. (I don't do uproot, i feel as if its a waste). I've had games where the enemy had a huge warscore lead, and so they bough tlots of minions. Now alot of poeple would just give up right here, but here is the thing, you should be able to leapfrog them in level, thus making a push at the end. Will it happen in enough time? wait and find out. I've seen it happen a few times.

Bigger maps, teleport Scrolls are very important. But if you don't want to buy the scrolls all the time, there is a favor itrem that allows you to teleport every so often.

It is a shame that people just spill out crap from their mouths and make games unfun, but it is going to happen :/. Just some teenagers who need to show everyone who is boss. With age comes maturity, well it did for me :). I wasn't the most polite when I played CS. Hell, I look at some of the things I posted on a specific message board I thought back to myself, "was i really like that?" For the most part, the Stardock community has been a pleasurable one.  
What is Stardock your servant? As long as they are on the ball for debugging the problems they didn't see coming, don't give them shit like this. If they abandoned the project, sure, this would be fine, but don't expect anything from them besides their commitment to make sure the game is going to run fine for the majority. Impossible to get everyone to happy though.
Hard is pretty easy as long as you play every character is an asassin.
What you do not understand is that Stardock ha sa history of patching games. Usually we don't really call this 'patches'. Now Demigod right now, the patching has been to fix the multiplayer issue, its the only issue in the game at the moment, the rest of the patches will be to improve the gameplay on PLAYER feedback. I think there should be shops and they sell random stuff genereated before the game. Both teams get the same items within the shops, but there are maybe 15-20 max to choose from from all the gear. (Excluding class specific items of course). Would make for a more diverse game.
The maps are OP as well.
Larger maps then what they have would be boring. The more flags in the game, the longer the game is going to take. We want realtively quick games (15-45 minutes) not 2 hours games. I like the pace at which it is at right now. Wish it was random flags, but I can't have everything I want.
It's balanced, for some of the generals, you just have to get use to playing a support role and letting you teammates be the demigod killers.
Only if they leave this as teh most kills, and thats it. If the favor points were assigned just by team, there would be no point in giving favor points in the pantheon.
