I dont get it, I just tried to uninstall it after about 3 hours and now it uninstalled just fine and now im in the process of reinstalling. Thanks for the input Kryo.

I havnt plaeyed this game for a month or so and i wanted to update it to 1.4 and when I click on it I get an install fail message and my next thought i would just uninstall and reinstall and I get error message there too. it says i need computer admin rights and I do have those rights so im kinda confused. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

a few questions in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I was just playing along and some questions came up. 1. Does switching techs in middle of researching it lose all progress on the old tech? and 2. Does a mining starbase have to have a planet in its area of effect to get the bonus or does the whole civ see these benefits? thanks in advance

I downloaded the entire game and when I try to start it all it does stay in this black screen. If anyone has any help it would be appreciated.

a problem in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

well here is kinda what happened, I play a couple of turns and end up playing a whole lot more this game kinda does that but I save and try to come back to my game, and when i hit play game and it starts loading the intro movies. My moniter just gives up and goes all black. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didnt help. So does anyone have any ideas [Message Edited]
