We've all used beta software and despite whatever identifying system they used (version numbers, letters, dates, etc) the general rule has been "higher is better". Whatever the issue is, I am experiencing the same situation. With Show pre-release versions checked, the installed version is 1.90h[b].019 and the available version is -----. With Show pre-release versions unchecked, the installed version is 1.90h[b].019 and the available version is 1.90.026. There is no letter in the new version number. Nor is there a [b] or [beta] reference in the new version number shown.
Hello, I'm going to report and then kind of abandon a possible bug with the latest WB6 beta - release v5.91[b].038. I have another issue I am trying to resolve Startup questions - copying files and splash screen . Looking up this WB6 one right now will simply distract me. (Yes, only my computer can multi-task!) Alright, I've done the WB swap-out and nothing changed. Updating to the latest WB6 beta release has resolved the OD+ file copying, but the OB splash screen and file copying is still occurring. As yet I still have not tried to archive and move the files. Strangely, either something hiccuped or I might have just found a WB6 bug! I am, of course, going to report it elsewhere. I leave tracking it down to others since I need to resolve my outstanding issues rather than hunt down new ones. <i

The lack of info is rather commonplace (info / manuals are something Stardock is trying to correct) and I just bought & installed OD+ (without incident) two days ago. Technically, no. Definitely not on Object Bar. I am using FF as my default browser with the FasterFox weather extension. However, by default the extension is disabled. Also, I changed it's update to something like every 2 hrs. The extension was not running when I noticed the 5 minute internet access request. Because you're saying that it is occuring in both FF and IE it has got to be something either in Windows (Internet Settings) or an SD product. Something that is affecting your whole computer system not just one program or the other. It seems to me that their are two distinctly different types of skins and users using ODNT. Skins: Artistic or Usuable. The difference between these two is simple functionality. While creativity is applied to either type of skin, those intended for daily, productive use are generally sleeker. Creativity is suppressed in favor of producing a skin that loads/redraws quickly with little or no problems in a wide range of software/hardware. Artistic skins are intended more for a "Wow!" effec
