i fixed it, thanks for your help, all i had to do was uncheck timeto display list of operating systems in the startup and recovery section part of system properties

i have a laptop so i guess im lucky it didnt give me anymore problems, but do you know of any way to fix what happend? its seems like an easy enough problem to fix if you knew enough about computers (which i dont)

dont have any idea what you mean, but on a further note, i uninstalled bootskin and im still having the problem, my pc is working fine but its the one kink in my chain of customizing xp and its really bothering me. i have xp pro sp 1. right now im running litestep, logonstudio, icon packager, and style xp. everything runs fast and smooth except the bootscreen, anyone that would have any ideas would be much appreciated

i got bootskin a few days ago and its been working fine, but when i start up my computer it asks me which os to start in :windows xp (bootskin) or windows xp: it works fine whichever i choose but is there anyway to get around this choice, its annoying
