Another one bites the dust due to BUSH! He needs to go.

I was still always looking to the left for the nav bar and now it's all mine again! LOL
My experience with WB and Vista haven't been good. I MAY try the final release but may wait until version 6 is out the door and not as a Beta!
Running Vista Ultimate, almost went back to XP Pro but decided to keep Vista but think next time I'll wait for SP1 to come out before upgrading. I am very disappointed that HP didn't have a driver for my PhotoSmart 7350 although they did suggest a Deskjet 5550 driver to use and it works but prints very slow. I think they will support it when they can get around to building the software for it. Microtek flatly told me my ScanMaker 5600 scanner WILL NOT be supported so I went out and bought a Cano
One problem I had was I upgraded from a Microsoft Wireless B router to a Linksys (Cisco) Wireless G Modem/Router, I had to make sure my ISP had the new MAC address and serial number of the new Modem before they would let it access their Network, then it took about 30 minutes for their Active Directory to replicate before I was able to surf again.
Just think how many people have the same or duplicate of those said files! Wow!
Good info for all the home networks to pay close attention to. With IPv6 now out there, there are a lot more networks available and the hackers are looking for these open holes. Hardening your system is now more than ever essential to maintaining a healthy and smooth flowing network. A great firewall using NAT also will help and if you need to you can use a good DMZ setup as well. Nothing is absolute in protection but keeping on top of maintaining the network , changing passwaords frequently sho
There's nothing I hate more than to buy something and later find out it went on sale or was marked incorrectly. I comparison shop every time I make a major purchase...buyer beware? Sounds like good advice to me...
It was definately WB because I left everything else loaded except WB. As soon as WB was uninstalled which was a feat in itself, everything started to work better. I am running a system with Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 Chip with 1 Gig of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS PCIe video card.
I know what you mean by no uninstaller. I had to manually delete some folders and some would not because of permissions even though I forced change of ownership and full control of permissions.
Yeah, Newegg has it going on and so does Buy.com
Thanks everyone for your suggestions and not bashing me about these problems. I hope Stardock can overcome these issues as I am a great supporter especially under WinXP. I did have ObjectDock Plus loaded but after uninstalling everything all is back to normal, heck I was even considering going back to XP at one point. I think Microsoft could have done a better job supplying vendors with better info for development. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" border=0 align="absmid
BestBuy seems to know how to keep you coming back with their Reward Zone entity and they give great sales and their price comparison policy is great...why go anywhere else unless you can't find what you need? The others need to do something similar to keep their loyal customers. I think if we stop all this uneven trade with China, Japan and Mexico we would see a big boost in our own economy. <font face="Verdana,
WB 5.5 does not work well with Vista. After loading WB 5.5 I noticed my pc running slower than normal. Also figured out why I couldn't activate my purchased copy of Intervideo WinDVD 8 Platinum is because WB was interfering with the on-line activation. I also could not use WMP v11, it would not show my library! I took ALL my Stardock products off my Vista Ultimate until I know all is fixed. Stardock has a lot of work to do...I think about 6 months ought to do it! <img src="http://images.stardoc
Well okay 5.5 is here and it works...somewhat. My question is why does it not skin WMP11 on Vista Ultimate? I have it specifically excluded now but when it was applied none of my covers would show up until I excluded it from being skinned. Hope there will be a fix for this soon?
YES...the UAC is getting to annoy me and I may turn it off soon!
It would be nice if you could do a search on this site for your one driver needed!
I found what happened with my first attempt is that my primary HD Partition was not a BASIC disk configuration but rather a dynamic, I had to delete the Partition recreate it and convert it to Basic Disk subsystem then everything installed without a hitch...no lockup and I've been running it for quite a few weeks now.
You are now officially indoctrinated into the "skinnerz" circle!
There hopefully will be improvements in it's stability. It seems to lock up my video driver, and when it does that it (Vista) recovers but turns the screen black. I'm using the latest nVidia Vista driver (Version: 97.46).
What's really funny is I still have the original installation disks for Windows 386...LOL
#4 above you misunderstood...when I tried to just use the AIW card the TV Tuner part of the card don't work under Vista MCE. I did buy a Separate TV Wonder Tuner card and it works fine. The X1900 video only works fine with the driver from ATI. I just don't like the fact that since the AIW X1900 has a built in Tuner Card why i should have had to buy a separate TV Tuner card in the first place. <font face="Tahoma,Ar
I recently bought an ATI X1900 AIW Card which was around $300 I installed Vista Home Premium to use the Media Center feature. The TV Tuner part of the card won't work and I was told by ATI that there is not going to be a fix for any of their AIW cards but their TV Wonder Tuner Cards models 650, 550 and Elite will work under Vista. I had to go out and spend another $80 to use the Media Center. After all the months of development I cannot believe that a company like ATI cannot get their act togeth
Anyone know why the totals are not showing at the bottom of the "My Skins" pages? ie; daily download totals, etc.?
Got Ultimate and Home Premium on order, so we'll see how things progress. I'm excited about the new changes.
