Hello all!
We have our first update which incorporates some of the highly requested community feedback we've gotten so far, including unlocking GalCiv IV Factions for Early Access.
These updates are now live on both Steam and Epic.

Details on what the update includes can be found in the following:
Audio:
- New early game music themes added.
Custom Factions:
- Added Lots of new aliens.
Engine:
- Fixed a crash bug with regards to invasions.
Factions:
- Unlocked GC4 factions for early access.
Galaxy:
- Adjusted the map size balance to scale prestige points more accurately for different map sizes.
- Min distance between stars systems (their outer Oort Cloud) increased from 3 to 4.
- Pirate bases slightly less common.
- Precursor relics are more common.
- Sentinels a lot less common.
- Space monsters slightly more common.
Gameplay:
- AI players can now start event-based conversations with the player.
- Citizen traits now explained (i.e., What malevolent is, etc.).
- Reduced the core world influence trait from 1000 to 100.
- Wealth points reduced as a contributor to prestige victory.
- Balance pass on targeting. AI is less inclined to go after colonies and more inclined to go after core worlds for sieges. (even more).
- Changed the "Science Team" to the" Science Guild."
- Increased the level up bonuses of some of the early special planetary improvements.
- Planetary Defense formula updated, balanced along with its tooltip.
- Removed the free 1 point to planetary defense planets got.
- Research needed to get a tech inflation rate increased from 1% to 1.5%
- Treasure Hunter mission has far more variance in how much money it brings back.
Ships:
- Removed duplicate carrier modules from the assault carrier.
- Weapon costs for ships greatly reduced to get more, ships faster.
- Fixed an issue keeping the paladin from being buildable by most civs.
- Increased the cost and logistics cost of bigger ships.
- Siege component now costs 36 Production.
UI:
- Planet screen surgery.
- Increased the WASD camera move speed defaults and max value to make scrolling around the map with the keyboard better.
