multiplayer

I bought the game on epic, and so did my Friend we tried to start up a multiplayer game together, the game would repeatedly get stuck at end of turn for him, I was able to recover it and after letting the AI control his faction for a few turns it seemed like the error was resolved, then it got stuck on  an npc turn, on very quick we didn't even make it to turn 30 in 4 hours with everything as broken and unstable as it was. I know why I never see multiplayer games on the lobby now, and for a sticker price of $40  I would like to know when this end of turn instability with be resolved. especially when the top tag on epic is multiplayer.
