Deleting Old Ship Designes

I want to start a new game and I want to get rid of all my old ship designs from the last game I played. Is there an easy way to do this, delete some files somewhere, or do I have to load the last saved game and deleted them from in game?

If you want to nuke all your designs, just delete all the files in My documents\My games\GalCiv2\ships.
