"What other software do you have running?" Seriously? Looking to blame something other than the source of the problem? I'm looking for some constructive suggestions/support, not a silly fishing expedition by someone who knows nothing on the subject. Taskbar pinning is a convenient feature for me and I have studied both potential causes (and thereby solutions) and alternatives to Start11 for this feature. But thank you for the reply.
I am trying to assist as clearly a feature that should work is not. This typically means something is interfering with it as otherwise it would be working 
The questions are important as they allow us to narrow down a cause, like a specific AV app blocking certain things, or x mouse mode taking focus away from the prompt that would appear. Knowing this then allows us to setup a similar setup where possible to debug it.
You would be surprised how many people use software which uses OS debug symbols to patch internal functions and then fail to mention it when that is the cause of the problem.
Regarding your comment on "someone who knows nothing on the subject", I should probably mention I am the person who wrote the pinning logic and knows considerably more than anyone else in these forums when it comes to how Start11 works.
