I second this. I have device battery status displayed in the tray. It would be nice to see those when gaming fullscreen on the primary monitor.
Any update on this? Would be very handy as the taskbar doesn't pop up always during gaming.

I am also interested in this function.
I have 3 monitors and have put some programs in the tray. In particular, I have rotated 2 monitors 90 degrees, so upright/pivot, so that there is less space at the bottom. This should be possible in 2025.
I bought DisplayFusion. With it, I can do everything myself and much more.
