Beastlord champion doesn't have any ability to do taming. it's a new 2.1 bug?
This has also happened in my game. Bought a few of the DLC's over the weekend on sale, but the Beastlord has no tame ability. There were a couple of posts about this being an issue back with 2.0 as well. I guess this just never got patched.

Found out the problem. https://www.gog.com/forum/fallen_enchantress/beastmaster_bugged1. Edit CoreSpells.xml w/ Notepad 2. Find <SpellDef InternalName="Tame"> 3. Delete <IsSpecialAbility>1</IsSpecialAbility> 4. Save, restart LH, start a NEW game.
CoreSpells.xml can be found inside data/English folder within the FE LH Main Folder.
Thanks mewcatus, that seems to work. Now to tame me some beasts!
Still have some other bugs though, some abilities not working. But the tame ability was the biggest pet peeve for me. I hope they release a patch for this.
