AI question

Will the AI in the finished product be better than what it is now?

I just beat all 6 opponents on a large map with them set to Godlike - without firing a shot. sigh

Also the AI's planet development is poor and disjointed. They don't build effective star bases and don't ally against you.

Yes, they've said in the streams that improvements are on the way.

The AI we have been seeing up to now has been a very basic place holder for the real one, which they started working on in January. Stardock says maybe the real one will appear in Beta 5.
