Is there a difference between these two terms or are they interchangeable? I notice that in the planet screen the "manufacturing" bonuses from my factories and starbases show up in the Manufacturing tooltip, but "production" bonuses (death furnace, economic ring) do not.  Since that tooltip does not show a figure for base production (unlike the tooltips for research or net income), I haven't been able to determine what the production bonuses are actually doing.  I'd love a bit of clarity here if only as a polish point.  Oh, and some sort of base production in the manufacturing tooltip for the sake of consistency and so I can figure out what I might get out of building another improvement.
