Please help: Updating with stardock central - how to?

Version: "Dread Lords", German copy.

I created an account, verified it, registered my GalCiv2 copy online, downloaded the stardock central software with the offered link and installed. During installation Stardust central setup tries an update and is unable to. (No firewall active, I've tried diferent times)

If I start stardock central after that, it logs into my account, shows updates for game/ tutorials and so on. If I try to download them I get an error, pointing to an invalid link.

I'm pretty sure that Stardock Central is no longer supported and that you need to install Impulse to get any current updates of the game.

If you go to "My Account" and then click on the "Registrations" tab any registered versions of the game should appear along with a link to download Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup.exe). Click on the link to install Impulse and once that's complete your game should be upgraded automatically.

I think you'll need administrator privledges to install Impulse and you'll also need .NET Framework but the install will prompt and install .NET for you if you don't have it already.
