Problems introducing new players

LAN issues

Hi there,

I'm looking to introduce my roommates to DG via Lan. I read that you can just copy your DG folder to their computer and go from there. When we try to run the game on their PC it requires activation. A previous post indicated that it's ok to use my serial to get the game going for both of them, but my question is.... How do I find my serial??

You shouldn't copy the folder. You should either use an archive of your existing installation (OS specific, so he will need the same OS this way) or either the http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com archive or the "Download and archive" option which will both be OS-independent.

Then log into your Impulse account on his PC, and install the game from the archive. Either way, you will not be able to re-use a serial for another activation, you will need to use your account for the Impulse login. After it's installed you can LAN normally.

You click on "MY ACCOUNT" on this page (It's above the HOME > DEMIGOD information, to the left of MY POSTS and MY REPLIES).

Once on that page, click the MY REGISTRATIONS tab, and it will be there.
