Demigod - invalid username/password (multiplayer login)

Hey guys,

just got the game and wanted to check out multiplayer mode. Hey, what can I say, I constantly get a "wrong username/password" message in demigod. GREAT! Even though I was pretty sure I had typed the right username/PW, I tabbed out, opened Impulse, logged into my account, changed username/pw, and typed the SAME info in Demigod --> wrong username/password. WTF???

Anyone else also had that problem and knows a solution to it? That would really be cool...as this sucks!

I am having this same exact problem.  I ask for help and they send me my username and password in email.  Thanks, I needed to know that.  Anyways, if you want a game to hold you over until this debacle is taken care of check out DOTA.   You can create accounts on the fly and I have never seen it not work.  I myself am still waiting for an email back to tell me what to do to fix this.

Yup, I'm having the same error, probobly tried it 30 times, about 10 times different ways. I was almost thinking I struggle like no other (I still might!) but at least you have given me a hope of rescue!

Hey guys you can play offline if you click cancel when it wants to update....

 

Also to fix the problem contact Stardock Technical Support (support@stardock.com)

1.Provide them with the serial number

2. Place you bought the item

And digital pictures of your

Game Disc

Receipt

Serial Number (this is the important one)

Box

 

Once they verify everything your impulse account will be updated.

I wasn't having this problem for two days (I still had other issues) - It just started happening tonight .... I'm getting very frustrated with this game, I've had it for two days and yet to play a full multiplayer match w/ out an issue.

Great, I'm having the exact same problem.

Shame GPG couldn't release this on a reliable digital distribution outlet like STEAM.

This started happening to me tonight as well. This game just seems like waste of time because of all the issues which is sad because its an awesome game.

I got the same issue after second patch and this is what i did in case it helps you :

I uninstalled Impulse

I downloaded last Impulse from stardock

I installed Impulse 

I launched Impulse

I was asked to log in impulse

I logged in into Impulse

I launched Demigod

I connected with my username/password => successfull

Same issue.  Can't logon to Demigopd multiplayer with my Impule username/password.

Anyone know how to change your account email address?  It's showing a 5 year old email address for my account, but I can't find a way to change it.

I reinstaled impulse and demigod it still wont work some one needs to fix this problem or i want my money back.

Same problem here, hope they fix this soon.

It's a great game but being forced to use an application like Impulse brings problems like that which I personally hate.

Seriously: who needs Impulse? I just want to play this damn game.

I have same problem with thoes other, i today come from work i buy this digital version. Everything go well game work great and patch, but when i try log in multiplay. Invalid Username or Password there is noway i lose my memory to know my account, that i make when i buying game.

Don't expect a quick response either.  I have this issue and opened a support ticket 2 days ago.  Haven't even gotten a reply other than an automated one.  You might just want to get Dawn of War 2 and get your money back.

just read this in the "history" of demigod,

If you are having problems logging into Demigod to play on-line, the most
common issue is that your Impulse account does not have Demigod associated with it.

This can happen if you use one email address to buy Demigod and another email address
to create your Demigod account. We can merge your accounts together. The fastest way
to do so is to contact support@stardock.com.

that is what i did, so maybe it applies to some of you aswel

Already sent an email to them and opened a case.  That was 2 1/2 days ago.  I haven't heard anything back except for an automated email response.  So if that is the solution were in bad shape.

I got this Error a Couple of times... But i think it was b4 a patch was applied or something

I'm having this same problem. The merging thing is irrelevant as I just registered for Impulse after I installed the game. I'm not sure what to do now.

i think you have to log into the multiplayer with your impulse user/ password anyway atm the multiplayer is fucked.....
