It really is a pain. I wish it was more like in Steam so I could change my username anytime I wanted alt an option in game to change it.

This is what I got from someone quite friendly.

1. Log in to Impulse

2. Click on the "Community" tab on the top left.

3. Click "My Impulse" at the bottom left.

4. Click on "Account" towards the top.

5. Click on "Login"

6. You should now see the form to change your user name.

EDIT : WOOPS THIS DOESN'T WORK.

Dear Demigod Devs,

This is happening to me as well.  This is a big issue for people who do not want their real name displayed in game.  Please advise on how to fix this.

Same problem

Another victim of this bug reporting. Whenever I login from the game my full real name is displayed, no matter how many times I change my Impulse login, the profile name or even the personal information on the account page. I even tried changing my recorded real name on the account page and it keeps showing up...

Has anyone submitted a help ticket to stardock? I tried everything listed above but it still doesnt  change,  demigod is going down in flames.....

Well it was Clear for me... i knew My nickname/account name b4 i went in "war_pigz"
It kinda sucks your all haveing troubles changing things....They'll have some competition with Starcraft2 comming up, im sure there gonna do there best fixing everythiung a.s.a.p
