Yet again, I'm going to try to save a few words here and re-direct readers to longer length reviews that I've posted at Amazon.com. I'll include a couple of short words here, but if you'd like a bit more detail check out my reviews at Amazon.com (and while there check out a few other reviews if you find them interesting!).
First up is the movie Jumper. Just released on DVD and Blu-ray. In my case, watched on Blu-ray disc. Quick summary: sci-fi movie about someone that is able to teleport to (jump to) virtually anywhere. Hayden Christensen stars as the jumper in the title role while Samuel L. Jackson stars as a leader of a group that wants to end jumping and jumpers once and for all. Rachel Bilson plays a supporting role, along with Jamie Bell. Bit part appearances by Diane Lane and Michael Rooker.
Next up is the movie The Air I Breathe. The Air I Breathe is actually 4 stories that make up part of a bigger storie. It's an interesting film, though a bit violent in parts. Features an all-star cast including Andy Garcia, Brendan Fraser, Forest Whitaker, Kevin Bacon, and Sarah Michelle Gellar (among others).
Both were worth a rental for me, with Jumper being reasonably fun. The Air I Breathe was a bit darker and more depressing. Again, worth viewing, but know going in that it's not a happy, happy, joy, joy movie.
