That should answer what the MV is
2. You do not need to create an empire as there are already lots out there and it may be easier to join a group who are like-minded. However you can create one if you wish. To join one of the empires just look through them in the Metaverse section and then click 'Join empire' if you see one you like.
3. You can have up to 3 characters under your username . To create a character click on the Metaverse link on the left of the forums. Then click the 'account' link that appears, followed by 'edit my characters' Now you can create a character to play as in MV games. PS remember to click the hard to see 'default' button to get your medals etc in your posts.
4. When you start a MV game you get the choice of which of your characters to play with. One score per character, not combined!
5. Your character name in MV games is only really there for you to have some fun with.
6. MV games differ by only allowing the player to play with the basic game and not use mods or modded files in the game.
7. To get an avatar next to your name just click the 'My account' link at the top of the forums. Then 'update images' and enter an image under 'personal icon'
