Wheres the combat viewer

I downloaded the demo, and its pretty nice, but the combat viewer only shows up sometimes during battles. How can I make it so it always shows up?

And for some reason I'm obsessed with missile dreadnoughts... espcially when they mow down cruiser and frigate sized stuff.

You only get the veiwer in a fleet on fleet battle. If your fleet is attacking a single ship or a planet without a fleet manager you only get the on screen animation of the battle.

Or you could just turn off the 'only show full battles when both sides are fleets' option

You can watch the fleet viewer for 1 ship vs. 1 ship battles too.  Just change the "Battle Length" option in the Options menu to "Full Battles"
