The trackpoint system used by ThinkPad laptops allows you to hold down the middle mouse button and then use the trackpoint to scroll. If you set the scroll option to Standard scrolling, then you are unable to use the middle mouse in galciv for 3d rotation. If you change the scroll method to 'Standard' scrolling, or disable it altogether, then you can use the middle mouse to rotate. However, neither of the scroll options allows you to scroll in scrollable windows by holding down the middle mouse button and using the trackpoint.

I know Brad did a lot of galciv development on a tThinkPad, I'm curious if him or anybody else has come up with a method of getting rotation and scrolling working?
