If you wish to make this an issue of User Policy Agreemnet, feel free and go for it. But please don't make this an issue of copyright infringement because you have no case. If Arianna Huffington has an issue I'm certain her lawyers will be contacting me. On the other hand, and knowing Arianna, I am certain she is quite happy to have her materials distributed far and wide, especially on a site wish such bias as this one.

The nature of an open site such as this is for converstaion regarding various issues. To post a story for information purposes for others to see and then for a group to have discussion about is clearly legal within fair use guidelines. the above post regarding 'educatiors and libnrearians' was in specific reference to educators and librarians. The so-called nature of the internet is mass republication of columns on many and various sites world-wide. Fair use practices are common and generally understood to be that reposting is acceptable as long as the article is unedited and includes the name of the author and any available copyright information. A sample fair use notice: "This site contains copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. We are making such material

I forgot, the Where are we going part. And the "unanticipated massively chaotic sudden event" was formerly known as 9/11. It was a spark of lightning in almost everybody, moving each from where they were to something new, though generally without their knowledge. So we are now just beginning to discover that an awakening has already happened and we are in the midst of it. The new Theory (psych, philo, spirit, gov't, science, et al) is coming to be

good topic. To me, we need to put this again into any evolutionary context, which is partially the nature of psychx's post. Can we evolve to unity and overcome the necessary ignorance to get there. A common mistake I see being made regarding different cultures it that we are assuming them to be all on the same eveolutionary level and just different from one another. Maybe we can look at it in a way where different cultures are at different evolutio

It sounds like you have a really good teacher, no wonder you love him. He is a good person, stay close to him, but don't expect it to be romantic, necessarily. And a lot of men are pigs, aka just really stupid. Everybody had much to discover yet. Fly away.

There is a new book out addressing the current state of environmental challenges, Plan B, by Lester Brown. In it, one of the solutions he proposes is that the US gov't adaopt a tax structure partially based on pollution, where corporations would pay their taxes based on the amount of pollutants they discharge and are responsible for. Would be a good start with this kind of incentive.
