I started a new game yesterday under 1.95.499015 and continued it today under 1.95.498108. I am seeing an issue with grid visibility. The first screen snapshot below shows the settings I have chosen for grid visibility. The second screen snapshot shows what the grid visibility looks like in the sector below my home sector. Clearly, something has gone wrong in the new version. In my home sector, the grid is visible in the whole sector. In a neighboring sector to m

I started a new game this morning under 1.95 and I have noticed some issues with the appearance of the text in the third panel when showing the results of surveying an anomaly. The screen snapshot below is the latest one that caused me to report this issue. In this case the third panel is empty except for the dash at the top center of the third panel.
Ill have to ask and follow up, but I believe its a situation where 100 percent equates to half off. This definitely needs to be looked at though
I tested your belief that 100% equates to half off by adding enough leaders to get over 200% as shown in the first screen snapshot below under the theory that, if 100% equates to half off, then 200% should equate to free. However, when I went to the Galactic Bazaar, t

The first screen snapshot shows that I have added enough leaders to get to a 103.6% discount when buying at the Galactic Bazaar. The second screen snapshot shows the cost of buying Arnor Spice at the Galactic Bazaar. Mathematically, a 103.6% discount should mean that the Galactic Bazaar should pay me 3.6% of the normal price. At the least, when I reach a discount of 100%, everything should be free. Since this is plainly not the case, can someone please explain how

This message from the Torians does not make any sense. My custom civ is the Stink Lovers and we absorb ammonia. I don't know if this can be blamed on the AI text generation or if this is a human screw-up, but it needs to be fixed.

I thought I read somewhere in one of the version updates that you had stopped aliens from making ridiculous trade offers? If so, it doesn't look like your fix worked (plus, if you look at the scroll bar you can see that not all of the things the Torians want are visible):

The following is another ship design issue that I believe has been brought up before, but still exists in 1.9 and is EXTREMELY annoying. I am trying to design a new ship and have gotten to the point shown in the first screen snapshot below. As you can see, I have already added components with a total mass of 30 out of the 35 available. You can also see that the Railgun component that I want to add has a mass of 5 so I should be able to add it and reach the total allowable mass o

When we report issues I can understand that you need to know what version we are playing, but I am somewhat confused about what version you want us to report. The version that just came down this afternoon is shown in Epic as 1.89.498602 (first screen snapshot below), but the Properties for the GalCiv4.exe file shows the file version as 1.9.0.0 and the product version as 49.8.41.3 (second screen snapshot below). I would have thought that the first 2 fields of the Epic version (1.8

I think there may be an issue with the Secret Police policy. It looks like it removes ALL crime, not just the -50% it says it will do. The screen snapshot on the left is what the Crime column of the Core Worlds tab on the Data Bank screen looked like before I applied the Secret Police policy and the screen snapshot on the right shows what it looks like after applying the policy. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/64/79/6479257/51e64343-a255-42aa-a796-774a83b9198a.p
Were you at war with whatever race that citizen was? I've seen that also, and it was on citizens of core worlds I'd just invaded. I think it's what used to say "You are at war with my race". If that's not the case there may be more than one of them not showing up.
Yes, I am at war with them, so I think you are correct (again!).

Below is a screen snapshot showing an item that is contributing -20% to approval, but there is no description of what it is which means players have no idea what to do to fix it.

The Ancient Survey Module (first screen snapshot below) is supposed to give a ship the ability to survey anomalies, but I have found that it does not always work. It has worked about half of the time, but I am writing this post because it has failed on the last 2 ships that I tried to apply it to. I would give you a save file so that you can recreate the issue, but exiting back to the main menu, then loading the most recent auto-saved game fixes the issue (I have set auto-save t

The screen snapshot below shows a very annoying issue. It asks if I want to build a mining base in THIS asteroid cluster. What asteroid cluster? If you are going to ask that question then you should be displaying the asteroid cluster in question so the player has the ability to intelligently answer the question. The other option (which I recommend) is to just build the mining base and assume that the player sent the Aster

The "Ancient Star Map" survey result has a text issue as shown in the screen snapshot below. The last sentence probably needs to have the word "planet" inserted between "valuable" and "relatively".
