Here is the link to a save file, right before battle (another one) where one of my cruisers get focused heavily by small ships but survives despite visually reaching 0 hp and fully red bar. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fff2LkuUXKjPLVFKGENX-vv9vbMbPxOH/view?usp=sharing

Came across that kind of bug again. There was an event, where after investigating an anomaly you are presented with 2 choices - to hand over container to another civ (there was an "incident" of some kind) or hack it by yourself. I chose the 2nd option, talked to another civ (corporate sector), lied them about not tampering with the container and everything was fine. Next turn, however, the same event appeared again. Here is a link to the save file on the turn when the event triggered again.<b

Ehm.. it was a particularly tough battle, since enemy had a lot of small ships, which all focused that battleship, so it went down pretty fast. It's not easy to reproduce. But, It definitely happened before in a previous war in that game, but with a different ship. I only have a save file right after that battle, not before. I can upload the file in discord, if you need it. I'm 80% sure it is connected to tactical repair and is probably a visual bug.

So, I had a battle and one of my ships (a battleship with commander "The Lens") got melted by enemy bombers, it got down to zero hp. But then it got sort of invulnerable, continuing to fight for many more phases. The battle was won and this battleship survived with 75 hp ! Since Intueri are an ancient race, i've researched "Living ships" tech, which gives + 5 tactical repair. On the 1st screenshot you can see that battleship repaired ~279 hp (that's a LOT). So, in theory, it could be

So, the 2nd perk in collectivism tree "shared belief" is supposed to increase population cap on core worlds by 2. I picked it having 2 core worlds (homeworld + 1 another). On a homeworld it seemingly increased population cap from 13 to 15, but on another coreworld it didn't. In both cases this perk is missing from description. Here are the screenshots: </

Can someone explain me how "Sector Ownership Score" works ? I've seen AI had it close to 100 in the first 10 turns on a medium size galaxy with several sectors. Also, I don't understand how "Faction Power" is calculated and why it is always the biggest number. Here is an example regarding "Sector Ownership Score": Altarian Republic on turn 153, almost achieved prestige victory (2.2) and owning about 35-40% of a sector and having Sector ownership score of 46: <img

Is there a way to change the mode of the forum from Night (white font on dark background) to Day (dark font on bright background) ?
Hi all, Jaia, I agree with you that there is a lot of room for improvement on the midgame and it could benefit heavily from more focus on intergalactic relations. The addition of war aims is currently planned for the Warlords expansion late this spring, which will force both the player and AI to navigate the political consequences of their warfare, both within and outside their empire. Essentially, you must declare a war aim befo

Yes, as I said early game is good, but i think it can be even better. With my 1k+ hours in Stellaris I barely finished several games, because a combination of poor performance, weak AI, lack of interesting events except crisis and meaningful ways to actually finish the game, except "go conquer them all" made playing till the very end not worth it. With Galciv 4 fortunately it is much better. I can choose a more relaxed apporach by going for prestige or influence victory, or

Here are some of my thoughts about 3 stages of the game based on my full playthrough. 1. I’ll start with the endgame. Endgame is what I like about Galciv 4 very much. As a long time Stellaris player (so forgive me, if I compare the two games), I can say that it was its weakest part of the game due to progressive lag and lack
In game i find some technology that gives Diplomacy Bonus +1. What exactly this means? And where i can see current Diplomatic Bonus?
Well, apparently, +1 diplomatic bonus improves you relations with all civs. You can see it when hovering cursor over that civ or in a diplomacy screen. Lo

Good ! And while you are on it, can you please give us an option to change camera button in battle (right now it is just middle mouse button, which is not convenient) and camera behavior (normal\inverse motion) in a future update ? That would be very much appreciated.

So, from description every time a weapon fires at a ship, its damage is rolled against armor rating, but every time such roll occures, armor integrity is reduced by 5 %. But in one long battle against precursor dreadnought i've noticed that its armor integrity stays at 100 % all the time as a tooltip says. On the screenshot you can also see it is 50+ phase in a battle. Why is that, is it a visual bug or is it supposed to be that way ? <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/55/61/556

I do not quite understand how diplomatic relations work. Here is an example from my current game with Drath. On this screenshot you can see that my current relations with Drath is 0 and if i want to create an alliance with them i need it to be at 9. By the way it is the only way i found to check current relations. I think it should be one of the first things you see on diplomatic screen. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/55/61/5561629/8408d905-2e26-4473-8fe9-d8efbc52e5d

I don't have the save of that particular turn, unfortunately, but I tried to describe in detail what happened. So something is wrong in the sequence: event trigger-->free leader choice-->save the game-->quit game-->load that save-->same event trigger (you can choose free leader again). I checked local files after that by the way and the game said 2 files failed to validate and were replaced.

I don't know specifically about QPU, but i've noticed in my current playthrough that adjacency bonuses do not always apply immediately and sometimes start to work only on the next turn. Seems like a bug for sure.

So, i've been playing more actively for the last couple of days and here is my list of things that in my opinion need attention of developers. First - more important ones, followed by minor things like bugs. 1. Ship refit is way too expensive. Upgrading just ONE fighter to the next level weapon (from 2 to 3 or 3 to 4) costs 137 gold\credits. I'm on turn ~ 120 and make about 50-60 gold per turn. So, the income of my whole large empire is not enough to upgrade the weapon of one li

Event triggered, where another race (phalenoids) informed me that a leader (name - Mors Ven) they don't like is heading my way. I could basically kill him, accept him (which I did) and some other option, i don't remember. So, got free leader, then I saved the game and quit. After a while, when I loaded that save to continue, that same even triggered again on that turn and choosing the same option, i got another free leader with the same name (Mors Ven). I tried to do the same 3rd time, but th
