So food seems to be one of the tougher resources to gather. Now lets say I have 2 cities I control...my main city is currently +7 food and my second city that I sieged is -3 food. Is it then beneficial for me to establish a caravan between my two cities i.e. will that help increase my 2nd cities food? There are very few food sources on map I'm playing and I've built graneries etc and still not budging. Also I ams= confused about the global food pool, etc. But I noticed my global

You sir are correct. I guess I'm confused on what the point of auto turn is then? I assumed auto turn meant that if I selected the unit to move 20 spaces away they would without supervision. At least thats how it worked in the campaign =/

I dont feel the game is incomplete at all. I have experienced 1 crash, but performance on large maps is terrible. My last save point at turn 400+ is completely unplayable. I may just start playing on small map for now. Once the performance issues are fixed this game is going to be one of my favs.

I believe you can discover wargs/horses and use them during design....there's an option to anyways =p. I purchased one for my sovereign and was giddy like a school girl.

I currently have auto turn on. During the campaign I could direct my sovereign to move 20 spots away and he would automatically move to it after say 10 turns without me reselecting him and clicking the tile again. During the sandbox mode I try the same thing and my sovereign requires me to select him every time every turn. Even if the tile is just 1 spot away and previously highlighted for him to move. Is this a known issue or anyone else experiencing this? <p

The only issue I have with the game is performance. It ran ok during campaign, but on a large map with multiple cities....5fps. I voted I like it, but I honestly wouldnt recommend it yet. Once performance is ironed out and minor nuisances...gurantee this game will become a classic. This is coming from a stardock/4x newbie.

Directly north of the 2nd set of footprints is a cave with 3 enemies standing outside. Once you defeat them the old man tells you of a book. Go back towards the fort. On the north side of the tiny pass heading to the fort is the burnt down village (slight glow in one of buildings). This is same spot where Janusk started crying. You'll receive the book, then go back to the cave where you fought the enemies. I hope that makes sense. =p

I was playing on a large map with 3 other factions. I've restarted the game from save points, but it still runs at around 5 fps. Game was running nice and smooth until several cities were built, it's acting like their is too much going on in the game to handle. I'm running a Nvidia GTX470, intel quadcore q5500. win7 64bit

I just started playing a sandbox game and randomly some notable locations just spawned near my city that are level 2; it says my current lvl is 1? I am slightly confused on how you raise your level for this? My sovereign is lvl 4 from combat.

Was toying with designing my own spearmen in the campaign, and thought it might be neat to make a sort of valkyrie type female unit....only problem is I dont see any option to change gender. Am I missing it?

I agree all valid points. I understand combat basics, and how to build a city after the campaign. No clue on how statistics, bonuses, etc factor in. Also no idea how to use the different tech trees...though I'm sure its similar to all the rts/4x out there.

During the campaign putting the units in the city didnt heal for me, I had to just stand them within the cities' influence. Also when one of my companies' of spearmen were decimated down to 1 unit they did not heal back to a full company....stayed single. All my companies with 2 or more units healed back to full numbers. Not sure if this is intended.

It only slows down performance if you have all your units within your city. The auto end turn freaks out and blows through like 100 turns in a minute or 2.

I am new to the genre and enjoyed the campaign. Was it great? No..Was it confusing at times? Yes. But I stayed with it and finished it. I don't need a detailed manual to simply toy with the UI/menus for 5 minutes and figure things out. I now have a pretty decent understanding of how things work. I personally don't have any issues with the UI, though I'm used to MMO style UI's which look similar. I dunno...UI is not important to me as long as it is functional which this is. Though I

I've got the same issue on Nvidia GTX470 card. I have the current drivers. Next time it happens I'll post the log. I've only had spell effects work maybe twice out of the 10+ times I've cast them. The inferno effect is pretty sweet though once I finally saw it =p

I noticed that if I place all units in a city the game slows down immensely, and the game begins using auto turns. Caravans begin moving rapidly from city to city and game drops so far in fps it almost unplayable. As soon as I remove my sovereign from the city and on the field the game resumes normal framerates.

I created a company (8 units?) of well geared archers earlier. During the tact battle I directed them to attack and noticed only 2 arrows of the 8 were fired.... Is this working as intended? I'm hoping not because its much easier to direct a company than 8 individual units. 1 arrow hit for 1 dmg...seemed awfully low when the company had a dmg rating of 56. Maybe I am missing something? My other question would be is there any advantage to using a company over single units? The
