Thank you for your response. I wish you luck with this endeavour, hopefully it will turn out to be success. I would be willing to become a founder and support this, even if strategy genre is currently "just on radar", but it would be nice to have some kind of "gameplay" video or something like that available to general public to get at least basic idea, how things are supposed to work. EDIT: Seeing only now its 10 USD to get early access, which i guess is acceptable even

I was surprised to find out about Video Game Machine, this really came out of nowhere, as far i am concerned. I believe it is a great idea and really should cater to the kind of sand-boxey loving gamers, who want not only to play, but create something. I actually suggested something like this myself in the past, although slightly different.... which leads to a question, what kind of game genres are you supposed to be able to create? From the screenshots and description it seems to be
I concur; its awesome. Best space opera tv show currently and pretty much since BSG, in my opinion. Although Orville is quite good too, this is even better. I saw all 3 seasons so far and read all the books bar the latest one too.
I have to admit, base building in DOW1 was pretty tedious. Spending bunch of minutes at the start of the match constructing the base, over and over every single match, boooring. The less of this repetitive BS, the better. I suppose at competitive levels its not such an issue, because pro players dont really let the game slip into that phase, where you see fighting one big army against another, more often than not they take their first unit and go on harrasing enemy base...but it
Quoting Timmaigh, reply 2 Anyway, regarding the new game, i hope its going to be more "Sins like" this time around. By which i mean more varied factions with deep technological trees differing on strategic level. This is what Ashes lacks and feels rather bland because of it.&n
What about those "Season Pass" holders? In other words people who bought Escalation and then got compensated by the free access to all upcoming DLCs, when the game was merged with original Ashes (for free to anyone)...Do these people count as "founders"? I am one of them[e digicons]:P[/e] ...hence the question. Anyway, regarding the new game, i hope its going to be more "Sins like" this time around.
Somewhere between you two, wonder if there is some tweaking I should do.
I just tried with both my 950 PRO and 960 EVO and the scores were cca 2260 for the 950 and 3911 for 960 - thus very similar to yours, so i guess things are fine on your side. Or, alternatively,
Wow, this was a year ago...time flies. Meanwhile that "Toad" is not so uber anymore - if the rumors about 16 cores AMD Ryzen 2 CPUs at high clocks for mainstream platform turn out to be true, you will be able to get about the same performance for 1/4 price... crazy.

So it took more than 3 months since announcement, but eventually here i go - finally. Cost me 1100 EUROs for one of the cards + about 150 for the PSU, the other card i got as reward for few of my side-jobs instead of money, so it did cost me just my free time. Not that bad, especially given the fact i am gonna use these for work, so they earn me those money back. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/36/17/3617814/7b33a5a1-1fd6-4452-8096-0ffc8242897e.jpg" alt="" widt
I am finally going to have it tomorrow...after almost 2 months of waiting for them to be available around here. Next week possibly another one for some SLI goodness - although all of it for work, not really for gaming. For that purpose i would be all right with my current 1080, the only games i played recently are SCO and Black Ops 4 anyway...both running already at acceptable framerates.
Quoting , quoting post it plays more like a technical demonstration of what the nitrous engine can do then a full-fledged game in its own right. Is this game still being worked on? You're entitled to yo
Just wanted to reiterate, what i posted on Friday in the other thread, in case it got overlooked, please look into overall performance of the game. I for one did not run into any crashes or lock-downs, but the game could reaaally get some performance optimization, cause it drops framerate under 30 FPS a lot... mostly during planetary explorations, but even at those "conversation" screens with other aliens.
Congrats. I bought it as well today. Just finished my first gameplay session. BTW, maybe its just me, and maybe if i forced myself to update graphics drivers it would help, but the game runs quite sluggish on my system - which is not exactly too shabby. Granted, its at full details, 4x AA and 3840x1600 (ultrawide) resolution, but the game does not exactly looks like Battlefield (even though it has definitely very nice art style) - to justify framerate dips under 30 FPS while driving a
Interesting read. Probably going to get the game on thursday...alongside a pair of shiny RTX cards![e digicons]:P[/e] Where are the reviews or some "campaign" gameplay vids, BTW? Wanted to check something recently in my free time, only to find out, aside of Gamescom trailer, there is nothing worthwhile to watch. It is hard to get excited for the game under such condition... I know there is more to engine than visuals, but it does not really look like some advanced itera
Well, it turns out its expensive as hell. I still want 2 of those 2080Ti´s [e digicons][/e] Anyway, will we be getting raytracing for Ashes? Since there was so much talk, how that game is all around technological "etalon" - and no doubt it is - it would be awesome if it added this feature, since i suppose it would improve the visuals even further. And i definitely want it for my Sins 2 :-D
Essential question: If i purchase the game now (its possible, right?), can i play the single-player campaign too, or still the fleet battles only? I definitely intend to buy, but was OK to wait for official release. However, now i have my 8-years old niece here at holiday, who is bit whiny, cause without mum, so i want to distract her with a new game - i was thinking either Subnautica, No Mans Sky or Star Control... SC being the one i would be interested too.... Another questi
So on Monday Nvidia revealed their new GPU architecture codenamed Turing, although so far only in form of professional Quadro cards, gaming cards based on this new arch are apparently behind the doors too - to be revealed next Monday on GamesCom. Anyone in for GPU upgrade? It is rumored that new 2080 will be even faster than Titan V, at least in Ashes in Singularity. Which is kinda feature, as Titan is a massive chip sold for exorbitant price. Personally, i am incredibly curious, espe

Oh, i see, that is too bad. Not Mac, cause its 2010 you said? That is definitely not going to be "fast".
If you care about speed, dont buy notebooks. Especially not the ones with the AMD pre-Ryzen CPUs, dual-core additionally - in 2018 - that was really bizzare idea, especially for someone who is into computers. If you are hellbent on laptop, then the option 2 is the answer. Definitely dont invest into the one you bought, neither buy 8-years old Mac.
