So is it safe to say sins is le caput? I come here once in a while now and it seems like nothing is happening. I hope IC has just given up on the Expansion and is putting resources into a sequel! Systems instead of planets!!!

I'd much rather see AOE abilities. Considering the cost of a cap ship, (possible credit costs for upgrading) and the cost of research, I don't think the proposed changes would make them any better than just cruiser carriers on a cost to benefit ratio. From my experience, those cap ships that are most useful and most used are the ones that do fleet affecting abilities. Whether it be mass heals, mass damage or mass boosts, those are the things that a cap ship work best fo

I'll agree to that. I'd definitely like to see some dev blogs and even open discussion with the devs. As you pointed out though, they are a small team with few resources, and I don't think it's something to get too upset about. If you want somethign to discuss, figure out why my mod makes the unit AI stop attacking each other! HAH!

Not sure you're aware, but IC does open beta for all their releases, which is not building it then fixing it later. It's building it right from the start. Also, they used to announce release dates but when they had to delay a few things an all mighty shit storm was released from the gates of hell known as the forums. Since then they've had the policy of not having released dates. Only ourselves to blame.
