Hello. I helped translating SOASE Trinity to french (since the official translation was just terrible) and the boxes of the UI were often too small for the french text to fit in. I think other languages might have the same kind of issue. We had to lower the font size and even then, we faced some difficulties. A french translation is generally 1.5 times bigger than its source. If you design your UI with that in mind, you wil
Quoting seanw3, reply 69Who cares about map irregularities like that? Is your imagination so far diminished that you need your fantasy games to have ultra realistic river formations. We could go on for days about this map's similarity to real life and the justifications for its geographical qualities or we could just enjoy it. Or are you capable of enjoying things? It looks silly and unprofessional. And it's not such a

You should mention it to them and get them to take a look at the dynasty stuff. In Birthright, the people who rule something are called "Regents". Let it be nobles (control the law), guilders (control the commerce), priests (control the faith) or wizards (control the magic). Regents rule because they are "Scions": descendants of people who foug
It is... quite true, but what if his hand is forced, forced into having a circus of fantastical creatures if he is to play on an even field. I suppose is your Fantasy army preference that of C.S.Lewis with Unicorns, Badgers alongside Centaurs or the (in my opinion) maturer and the likes of Tolkien?

Agreed, the game was a bugfest, but the original Pen and Paper setting for AD&D is priceless. It mixes politics and adventures really really well.
[e digicons][/e] The PnP version the best AD&D produced

I still GM the Pen and Paper version... the best TSR Module yet. If Elemental captures just a fraction of the feel of the Birthright world 'Cerilia' then they are onto a winner.
