Extreme fun. One of the better eyecandies. Works smooth now. [e digicons]k6[/e]
You don't want to know how many times i've seen the new instraller logo. I'm at Version 261.00 now. That actually works very good but i never install PhysX nor 3D. I don't game. The rclick issue remains however. As soon as you enable it the Nvidia CPL link disappears and the link on the main Control Panel becomes inactive.

One issue, if you rightclick on the border and the menu appears, not choosing an option causes the Windowblinds skin to minimize the window to topborder alone.
Great work. One issue: Win Ultimate 7 x64. Add Rightclick menu causes the rightclickmmenu of the desktop to open very very very slow. As in 20/30 seconds later. When i disable the rightclick and loggoff/login it comes up normally. Enble and it goes slow again
nope. Very good work. Indeed the resume does crash my displaydriver (nvidia) if i leave Winfx enabled before sleep. Weirdly the longer it sleeps the longer it takes to resume from sleep If i just do sleep/reusme immediately alll's is well. If i wait an hour or so it takes 30 seconds to resume, if i leave it overnight it takes several minutes.
On the hibernation issue: I had serious issues with at least 60+ secs CPU hog on resume. Win7x64 Desktop. I updated the latest version after which the hog was down to 60- secs. I uninstalled Winfx, rebooted. Tried resume, no issues. Installed latest version: no issues. Go figure. [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
There is an issue with hidden windows. If you have an app which hides it's window and goes to the trayicon, upon reopening it doesn't show but the taskbar does show the button. Clicking on the button will show as if you show/hide the app, but it stays hidden. Disabling WinFX solves the problem. Try Processlasso http://www.bitsum.com/prolasso.php for a test. It shows once and then is forever lost [e digicons] PS Sometimes Win
Works as advertised sofar, win7 x64. One very happy puppy. One glitch, when setting the option: make windows darken etc. it also darkens the Deskscape dream which to me is not really effective.
I would like to incorporate in my homemade mediasoftware a way to pause/unpause Desdkscapes programatically. Afaik ther eare no cmdline switches. Can i use SendMessage? Or is there another access to Deskscapes?
totally agree. switched to x64 and half the stuff doesn't work properly. Time schange and soon x64 will be the standard. Best be prepared Stardock.
uhh, how does this work with od plus? Can i just install over it?
yes have the same problem. Deleting autoinstall.win everytime and editing the colorsection in operaprefs.ini helps somewhat. [Colors] Color.Normal=#000000 Background=#ffffff seems to work as long as you don't minimize/maximize.
I've got Desktop Experience enabled, windows aero theme installed. deskscapes installs normally. But everytime i want to set a dream it tells me dmw.exe isn't running. Any solutions for this?
Would be nice if the folder settings would include a 'include subfolders' tickbox Also in latest beta the little previews in the bottom have all disappeared. One sees only a hourglass outline.
same here.
My little bug report : Installed on Vista Prem 32bit every time I changed a skin it would go into the classic skin. If I reboot the skin would apply. When I opened a window there would be no title bar. Didn't know how to go back to WB6 because Impulse said WB6 was installed and WB7 was installed also so I did a system restore.
same here, but on vista ultimate x64, also every other day (about) Vista booted up with
Everytime OD comes up with I don't use docklets in my dock, i cleaned out widgetcache, i removed each and everything related to OD which wasn't essential. How do i get rid of this?
i tend to play hd movies as dream, the sound is fine
I downloaded a few dreams with transitions, which work only once. That is if i set the dream it'll do a transition after which the image shrinks to a little point and doesn't reset. For example: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1669&libid=50 which is a very nice dream, but after a few minutes it does a transition and leaves me with a little triangle. Thinking it could
Another observation... Win 7 x64 seems to have a lower memory and CPU footprint than Vista x64. While my copy of Vista x64 hovers around 7% - 13% CPU usage on Idle, sometimes peaking higher depending on background services, Win 7 x64 hovers around 1% - 3% constantly, peakinghigher only when running various apps Similar differences for RAM too... in Vista x64 the used RAM usually sits on 23% to 29%, whereas in Win & x64,
good advice, but obviously ignored ;) I tried cursorfx, objectdockplus, both run so far without a hitch. i copied the roaming folder from my vista to my win7 and objectdock came up with my docks flawlessly. Impulse itself is a bit iffy, has some issues. WB installs fine, skins get applied, even work. But as above noted folders don't get opened and the taskbar/menu is a mess. Applying the windows aero skin from wb resets everything fine. With wb running no issues. please update
My bootskinpro version 1.01.024 works fine it tells me. And it did. Till i installed sp2. It just shows a blue aurora like bootskin. So i uninstalled sp2 because it has a lot of other issues. And now it still shows the blue aurora. I uninstalled bootskin, reinstalled, applied the bootskin. No error messages. Reboot, blue aurora..... Which part isn't rolled back upon uninstalling sp2 that bootskin does this? Vista x64
vista ultimate x64 sp1 all updates, english language, UAC off same error, latest installation from impulse
