I don't have any problem with the pricing so far but that's not the issue. Do I receive value from my investment in the game and do I look favorably on the development into the future? The answer to both of those questions, for me, is yes, the game hits a lot of sweat spots and is repayable. Stardock has delivered content, I like the new content over the old and I see myself playing into the future But thing can change. Who doesn't have x amount of dol

I also thought it was great at first. Speaking of which the game is otherwise looking better all the time.
I abandoned a game yesterday after 70 turns with a gigantic dingle sector map because there wasn't a single unit of Antimater or Elerium be found. And only 3 deposits of Thulium. Today I abandoned a 50 turn game for the same reason. I removed the FOW and saw clumps of Antimater and Elerium spread around the map. Be close to a clump of each, your a winner. Have the clumps be far away, your going to lose the game but only after wasting hours looking for a c
Updating my mods and adding the 3 you mentioned seems to have fixed my game. Awesome! Thanks for the help.
Thanks Gypsy for taking the time to offer help. I use almost all the mods (thank you moders, you rule) but I didn't have the 3 mods highlighted by Draver below. It appears my game is fixed by adding them but I have to play long enough to find out for sure.
Try as I might, I can't get gigamass ship components to show up in games. I have uninstalled and switched between insiders and default. Using the ship designer from the game launch screen, sometimes the components are there, sometimes they aren't. If I design a ship in the designer when gigamass components are shown, that ship won't be available or even listed in game. The more I change something, the more I get a different result. I tried turning off Meg
I'm using the mods that help but I can see all the objects in the map without straining creating a huge Qof improvement improvement for everything. When I used the sliders on the view setting it bearly made a difference but I can see everything now. I can smile while looking at the map again, woot!
If you look at my post in feedback, I too had a problem with incorrect settings. I confirmed I was broke so after reinstalling the game 3 times, I'm fixed. If you have the bandwidth and don't mind setting the game up again, you might try to reinstall. I left a few setting on my computer and that's why it took 3 times I think but I deleted every file and pref on my comp this time. Personally, I would do this with your problem and expect it to be fixed even if it takes
As it turned out, my game was indeed broken and after seeing the other post on setting not being reflected in the game I'm sure mine was as well. I had to reinstall 3 times but it now appears I'm fixed. Yah!
Thx for the responses. Over all, the numbers seem to be balancing out much closer.
In fact, it's the opposite. I have a lot of hours in the game and the number of planets close to me has always seemed less then it should be. After thye expansion, it's worse for me. I have to restart many times in a start I want to invest many hours in. I'm not looking for a perfect start. I'm trying not to be picky but no planets, no play. I use a single gigantic sector. In every game, with few exceptions, though I set planets to abundant, scarce is the number of planets
I also don't understand why ships don't stop move orders when detecting hostiles. I just don't understand why that's not in the game. I loved Empire Delux but Gal Civ much better!
The disclaimer here is I could be missing information I could find in the game somewhere or I'm doing something wrong but if so, that's still the problem. I get a new weapon upgrade and I want to quickly regrade a couple of ships. An old design popped up with the new weapon. Great, I'll use that. So, a, what's the doctrine? I don't know. I don't know where to look in the game to show me. That's ok, I'm just upgrading an existing design will have the
Thanks. I keep forgetting everything is on discord now.
I'm not able to find a multi player game of Gal Civ 4 on steam that can be joined. Sadly, I have no friends to ask. I've had a Steam account since 2004 and I have 15k hours in Civ but I've never played a strategy game, multi player, on line or otherwise. UT and WOW don't count. But Gal Civ forces me out of my Civ comfort zones so now I want the experience of being utterly destroyed by another live player, great fun I imagine. Are there places to f
I have 700 hours in the game and can't live without moving my citizens around. I always wished in was in III. Looking at the relocation screen it occurred to me that if I could move citizens both ways, export and import, it would be better. If I could import citizens I could see the whole list and choose one two three. I think that would improve an already great feature. Wow, the game just gets better, keep up the great work!
