Quoting ZimatDeltaHalo, reply 15 5. I know that this has been suggested before and that the developers have mentioned considering/working on it, I would like to know if radio chatter will be added in the expansion. When my bombers attack a target, it would be nice to hear something like "Munitions away!" or "Successful hit on target!" As you may well imagine, having a large fleet of ships and strike craft

Here are a few suggestions that top my list. Some I have mentioned before, some are new. 1. I would like, during multiplayer battles, the ability to designate targets to my ally. Something like having an option that I could use to click on an enemy ship/platform that would highlight the target on my ally's screen. It would provide an easier and quicker way to coord
I would like, during multiplayer battles, the ability to designate targets to my ally. Something like having an option that I could use to click on an enemy ship/platform that would highlight the target on my ally's screen. It would provide an easier and quicker way to coordinate attacks on different targets, especially if I could highlight a few targets at a time. Next, would it be possible to show the names of a capitol ship on the side of the hull? I know it doesn't affect gamepla
Yes it sucks that alot of big companies have to treat everyone like a potential pirate, but how else are they going to protect their investments?
As I said in my previous post, I don't support piracy, and I also don't engage in it. I also recognize the hard work that companies put into their products. My problem comes when copy protection becomes a frustrating process just to use the software that I legally purchased. Take my copy of MS Works Suite. I bought it becaus
While not important to gameplay, I was wondering if it was possible to allow secondary colors to be chosen for a player's emblem in the expansion or a patch? For example, for the one that looks like a star with a wreath around it, it would be cool to be able to have a red or blue star with a yellow wreath or any number of other color combinations. Perhaps ship color could be the primary, have both colors, or be a different setting entirely. Also, would it be possible to have the name of a cap
disaffected customers however, who are making up more and more of the piracy statsProof, please. The only actual times I've ever seen on this are pirates who say they're disaffected as an excuse.-- Retro
I, personally, wouldn't be surprised. I want to simply be able to put the disk in the drive, install it, put the CD safely away, and sit back and enjoy the game. I don't want to have to go through online registration just to play the single player or LAN portions of the
I know that I asked about this before, but I never recieved an answer. I found the posts with the website banners and avatars, but so far, no fansite kit has been released (I thought there was mention of a future fansite kit back between beta 2 and beta 3). Are there still any plans to do this? It would be great if it included some of the artwork from the intro cinimatic and elsewhere
I personally wouldn't mind having a downloadable fansite kit, including all the hi-res screenshots that were in the download section (currently, the largest images are 960X600), concept art (such as the artwork from the intro movie), the above mentioned character artwork (mentioned by The_Regicide), the portraits and insignia in the player setup options, etc. Some time ago (sometime between betas 1 and 2) I heard mention of a fansite kit, and I was wondering if and when that may be released. I
And in contrast to that, I'd like to thank Ironclad/Stardock for creating a game that, believe it or not, runs well at less than the minimum requirements! . And boy, am I thankful.
I agree. My brother is using my old computer, which hasn't been upgraded for quite a while. That means that he can't play most (or nowadays any) of the new games that are coming out, which means that most of our online games that we both play are on consols, which don't work well with s
Its very fortunate that there is a multiplayer save game feature. Otherwise, I don't think I would often have enough time to enjoy multiplayer. My question is does it also work in network games as well as online games?
After spending the better part of last year patiently waiting, I can wait just a bit longer, no matter how badly I want this game. The beta tests did, however, help out quite a bit, as I not only got to play Sins, but comment on the progress. I applaud the developers for putting the game out to those who preordered and listening to their customers' suggestions to improve the game. I really look forward to playing! Before I go, however, a few questions: 1. Some time ago, there ha
Very nice screens! I especially love the one with the Kols destroying the enemy (Advent?) ship. On a minor note, they all appear to be widescreen, which prevents me from using them as a background. Could you please release a very nice picture of the new Kol in battle, possibly with Marza and Dreadnought ships along side, that will fit on a regular screen? Thanks!
what if they attempted to conquer what they thought was an inferior race only to find they were not so inferior after all.
Like the Borg vs. Species 8472 in "Voyager"? I don't watch "Star Trek" all that much, but I did enjoy that specific episode.
That said, do be aware that most of the audio stuff is really placeholders at the moment -- they haven't even finished all unit selections 100%, they're hardly anywhere close to being in a position to have a finalized voice overs.
Yes, I know, but I figure that these things have a greater chance to be addressed if the devs hear it from as many sources as possible. Not that I don't think that they have considered this at some point, mind you.
The only problem now is all the other ships look bad in comparison (especially the Akkan 'ocean liner').
What better ship to convert to a colonizing support ship than a cruise liner? It's not like civilians like to ride on an uncomfortable ship. Great job with the new Kol!
I want a pink space pony action figure!
I feel dumb for asking this, but how did the whole "pink pony" thing get started? Must not have been here for that...
I found a trailer of MechAssault 2 that somewhat, though not exactly illustrates the concept in the above reply. It is a short trailer on gametrailers.com entitled "Conquest". I'm not sure how to link it, but the address is below: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/3020.html
While we're on the subject of stuff we'd like to see in the final game, I was wondering if in the campaign there will be any characters, like in Nexus? It couldn't hurt, and I think it would make the campaign better as it wouldn't be just a bunch of ships and nameless commanders/crews. Now about battle chatter. I'm not sure, but has this been comfirmed that it will make the final game? I know that I'm not the first to request this, but it would add depth to the battles. Picture a bo
The cd-key is only hurting the paying public for now. It is sad the affect illegal downloads is having on the PC games market. I wonder how many people who illegally download games do it because of the copy protection? At least they don't need the da-- CD's to run it. On a personal note, I am about to just about to give up and move to console gaming (with the exception of Stardock games).
I have no problem with developers trying to protect their work, but anymore most seem to be going overboard (requiring you to type the serial number everytime you play for example, FlyByU isn't lying). I also dislike it when I have to use the CD everytime I play the game. I frequently play games and hate to constantly have to switch the CDs out when I want to play something else. Many of my newer games which all require the CDs to play are all getting small scratches on them. Even the Gamedr
Since no one else seemed to have considered this, I was just wondering what type of merchandise will be out with this game. Will there be a special edition of this game? Perhaps a collectible die-cast model of a Kol battleship? What about a strategy guide? Coffee mugs?
Thanks! I have a friend who wants to get this game, but isn't a big fan on online multiplayer (the fact that he has no practice on this game may have something to do with it). Think the Kol may be redesigned by then? I hope that it isn't changed too much. Also, has anyone heard when we will be able to download the fansite kit that was promised a while ago?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but beta 3 is going to be multiplayer , right? If so, will beta 3 only be multiplayer or will it still have a single player mode?
If it's not made to be a mobile superweapon that would have to actually go to the grav well of the planet that it's going to bomb (somewhat like the death star), then I would like a multiplayer and skirmish "No Superweapons" setting, something like out of C&C's Red Alert 2. I wouldn't mind this weapon being part of the game as long as I could disable it when I play skirmish or a multiplayer game if I wanted. I feel it is a great solution because those who want to use them can and those who don
You know I was actually thinking of somethign that involves galaxies though(or a galaxy). Once we get Clans going and clan competitions star up I think that the top ten Clans should be represented with a color and based on their score own a piece of the galaxy. As score changes so does precentage of control. If we really want to make this top notch I think it would be cool to like have the galaxy map be compossed of regions that a player or
